Shopping Tip:

Nice location but poor service

Arrived at 10pm in the evening and was given a room in one corner. Room was small, smelly and need a lot of renovation. This is not a 4 star hotel. I asked for a different room and I was told that as I checked-in late, this is what I can get. I didn't enjoy the stay. Towels were old, carpets need cleaning and very small window with bad view. Bathroom seemed like a 2 star hotel. I requested late check-out as my flight was at 10pm but they said I had to pay extra. I will not stay here again.
Shopping Tip:
Very close to Mustafa and you can get pretty much everything there.

I was not too happy with my stay at ParkRoyal on Kitchener Road. Twice when I got home from shopping all day, I got in the shower only to find that there were no towels put back in my room and the dirty ones were taken. I had to call housekeeping while sopping wet. I should have checked before this happened a second time but I guess I'm not used to having to check for towels. The room service menu was out of date. We wanted to order Chinese food from the restaurant but we didn't realize that restaurant was closed and it was not explained to us and they told us it was closed for the night when they meant that it had closed down for good. The swimming pool was disappointing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The best shopping is on Orchard Rd. which is about a 10 minute cab ride from the hotel. So many malls and shops that you could spend your while trip just down that street.

The hotel is in a good central position - very good for access to little India. Nice welcome and attention on the Club floor.
Swimming pool nice and spacious. I will stay at this property again.

Stay for 18 days because of business travel. Very convenient location, near Farrer Park MRT station, and opposite to City Square Mall which is a quite large mall with a lot of shops and restaurants. Behind is Mustafa which is a 24-hr shopping center.
The room is quite big compare to the other hotels at the same price. In room, there are small fridge, iron, LED TV, big desk and etc. Though the room and furniture is not new (maybe quite old), but still OK since you've got everything you need in the room.

Good Hotel with easy Access
Close to many indian food places and cheap shopping

had a pleasent stay with no trouble at all. place is good for cheap shopping, if you are an indian food lover then there are plenty of places to eat around, there are big shopping mall in front of the hotel where you have all kind of food stall including kfc, mcd and pizza hut plus other shops with branded goods , super market too, easy access to all part of the island, no crime to be seen any where around and safe to roam any time of the day or night.
Restaurant Tip:
Lot of Indian food places around if you are indian food lover.
