Very Dry behaviour of the staff.
Park Royal is hotel frequented by Indian Tourist, booked by travel agencies, Hence becomes very difficult to have your breakfast.Rooms are Excellent, comfortable.Decor is very good. But the food is just OK.Not very good. Most important thing which is lacking is very dry behaviour of the staff because they feel the customer is not going to come back as their cliental is mainly tourist. So for people like us who are on business trip and are likely to visit Singapore more often will prefer places where their is some warmth.
Shopping Tip : Mustafa the best place for shopping 24hrs and right behind the hotel.

Convenient Location for both business and leisure. Close to MRT. Comfortable modern rooms with all necessary facilities. In room high speed internet access. Great breakfast buffet. Friendly attentive staff.
Hourly rate of internet access at SID 10 / hour is a bit high
This hotel is in Little India and offers great access to both the business and shopping districts as well as other locations and attractions. The MRT station (Ferrar Road) is under 5 mins walk and you are 2 - 4 stops away from the finacial and main shopping districts - or a short taxi ride to just about any location.
The staff are very helpful and friendly without being at all intrusive or overbearing.
This is great value for money and I am making it my standard singapore hotel from now on.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Little India is a great location for bargain hunting or for exploring the culinerary diversity and quality of Singapore

Quality of the room, location in Little India, proximity to MRT station, Chinese restaurant, bar, hotel staff
Internet charges are very high (internet should be free)
In my view, this is the best hotel in Little India. In this past year, I have stayed there twice, each time for a week. Their rooms are spacious and clean, great gym and pool, and an excellent Chinese restaurant serving Cantonese food. There is a very good Indian restaurant in the hotel's basement shopping mall. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Worth the money....
Restaurant Tip : (1) Royal Delhi restaurant at hotel basement for Indian food
(2) Hotel's Chinese restaurant

- 24H Mustapha Shopping Centre is very close with the hotel
- Unique atmosphere in around Little India gives you different experience of Singapore
- Good, minimalist room interior
- Clean and bright bathroom
- Our room has connecting door to other room and at night, we can hear our neighbor noisy voices.
- Minibar is not so complete
- Internet connection is not free (charged per hour)
- Movie/popular TV channels (like HBO, StarMovies) are not available
When you get bored of Orchard, this hotel is one of the best choices. The surrounding is very lively and unique. There are many local restaurant near the hotel. So why bother to pay more for ordinary hotel breakfast? Chinese food, Indian food, Melayu food, Steak, you name it! You can find them easily around the hotel. Not to forget 24H convenient store, like 7Eleven. Did I mention Mustapha? Yes, just 5 minutes of walking, you can find this 24H shopping centre. And within 10 minutes of walking you can find the nearest MRT Station, Ferrer Park, which will connect you to throughout Singapore. If you're a Moslem, there is also a small mosque near the Hotel. If you plan to stay at this hotel, just make sure that you were not placed in room with connecting door (except you request it one). And if you buy online, be prepared that internet connection is charged per hour (not free). Buy your own snack and drink, as the minibar is not so complete. However, there is an electric jar if you want to prepare your own hot drink. TV channels are not so outstanding. Common movie channels like HBO, StarMovies are not available.
Nightlife Tip : Explore this area at night, because it opens 24 hours. So in the morning to afternoon, you can go to other places, back to hotel in the evening, take some rest, and go dinner and explore the area surrounding the hotel!

Very near to shopping places
Variety of restuarants
Place is quite approachable from anywhere touring.
Breakfast should be included as package along with the room rates.
Park Royal hotel is very cosy to stay and i'm feeling great that i booked the rooms for my aunty , uncle of age 60+ enjoyed staying there for 4 nights.
They find very easy to go around MUSTAFA center, serangoon Road, Little India y themselves from the hotel and to various restuarants for food.
Hotel service / staff are also good and kind enough to help the elderly people.

The room was beautiful, with everything we needed and then more. The TV was on a swivel bar, allowing us to watch it either on the couches or on the bed. Several restaurants right in the hotel allowed for a lot of choice in cuisine.
The cost of drinks in the restaurant downstairs were very high (although these may have been elevated because it was the day of the F1 night race). The staff were very slow checking us in, and did not explain the cause of the delay.
This hotel is beautiful inside and out, with all the amenities one would expect from an upscale business hotel. Our room had a lovely view (aside from the construction adjacent to the hotel, which should not last forever). The restaurants offered a variety of choice without needing to leave the hotel - which is good, considering that it is right on the edge of Little India. We visited the 24 hour mall that is located just a block a way but there was such a press of people, mostly men, that my traveling companions and I were very uncomfortable. Walking around the area, we found that the streets had a smell, and that there are many people loitering outside on the streets. I would advise staying in or venturing outside the immediate area if you are planning to see the sights of Singapore.
Shopping Tip : The 24 hour mall located just a block away has some very good prices if you are a bargain hunter - just be careful of your wallet as there are quite a lot of people pressed into the small space.

Great Hotel, alas I am not partial to Indian food. Subway close, however I never used it as the taxe is not expensive and all drivers I found were very helpful, plus you get to see more of the country.
Nightlife Tip : Well worth the walk at night, the surrounding area comes alive.

We forgot to ask for a non-smoking room, so we were given a smoking room. Fortunately, after explaining about my asthma (they don't understand the term allergy) they did find us another room.
Hotel Feature Tip : This hotel was O.K. since we only had a stay over for 1 night. I'm not sure if I could recommend it for a long term stay.

Nice decor in the rooms, especially bathrooms, although it's a bath/shower. The only gripe I had about this hotel was the slow check-in process and also after finally getting to the room at 3 am and to sleep by 3.30 am we were woken at 8 am by housekeeping ringing our doorbell and knocking on the door before entering our room with their own key. I would have thought early morning check-ins would have been advised to housekeeping.
This is no way even close to the best hotel in Singapore, in my opinion, the Pan Pacific. This hotel really knows how to treat their guests.
Travel tip : Mustafa 24-hour shopping is behind the hotel, less then a five-minute walk.

The hotel is well worth the money. Good location in Little India with helpful and friendly staff.
Nightlife Tip : In Little India you can easy mingle with the locals.
Have a Tiger Beer (633 ml) in one a the little restaurants in Little India.
