I had booked at the last minute so the price was on the higher side but the hotel made up by giving me an upgrade. The room quality is very good and the service too. The hotel seems uniquely managed to serve both business travellers and tourists without much ado, which is quite an achievement.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The Singapore river is a few minutes walk. The Supreme Court, Treasury and Parliament buildings are neighbours, and so is the popular Funan mall. For high quality vegetarian food, there's Nalan restaurant next door. Peninsula is located in the business district, so it's worth the price.

The hotel was modern, location was great

Were disappointed from the moment I saw ants crowling around the table throughout my two night stay. The airconditioning took awhile to cool down the room.
The bed in the room was rock hard as well.

Central to most things.
The staff were very professional and the room was very clean. The two swimmimg poools were a great attraction and well used.

The hotel was easy to find and within walking distance of all the great attractions such as Marina Bay and Clarke Quay for anyone with a minimum of fitness.
The room isn't big but I wasn't intending to spend much time in it.
Don't let the small street-level entry fool you.
Once a lobby-level the hotel opens out into two towers with a bookings, bar and pools at this level.
The Coleman Restaurant is great for breakfast.
Nightlife Tip:
Chijmes is a great place for nightlife with its many bars and live music. It is 5 mins walk from the hotel and close to Raffles Hotel.
Clarke Quay is a 5 min walk in the opposite direction and 10 mins further on is Chinatown and the famous Smith Street food outlets and street markets.
Don't miss a stroll to Marina Bay and the casino.

I stay 2 night at Deluxe room peninsula exelcior. The hotel is clean, good view in the night but I'm confius with this hotel why in each room not provide the free bottle water
