Hard sell
Location by the river and restaurants

The first thing they did was to try to "upsell" to a "better" room. One gimmick is that we could occupy the room right away, whereas if we stayed with the regular room, we'd have to wait. Sad.
The hotel really needs refurbishment. The carpet is worn. There is only wifi in the lobby and it is expensive.
The only good thing about the hotel is the location, just a couple of blocks from the river.
Will not stay here again.

lovely view of the marina, clean and comfy
great view, close to malls, restaurants and transport

stay was very good, great view from the room to marina. bed is comfy and service was prompt and proper. breakfast was not included and its in-house resto was a bit expensive. arrived a few hours early in the hotel and had to wait for 2pm to check-in, wished they bend that rule a little for weary travellers with kids. service helped with taking care of luggage while killing time.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
take the hop-on hop-off bus at the intersection to travel to sights. With the same tickets you can board the sentosa rider buses for free.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile

nice price though the price is a bit high. good location with lots of food behind the hotel. and the good thing also that it is so near to mrt. very convenience. i booked 2 rooms. one for myself and my husband and the other for my son and my daughter in law.

Good location but below 4star standard. Empty rooms without any decoration, need renovation. Staff is attentive but never smiling. Internet not included, that's out of question for a hotel of that standard. Not a great experience and I'm usually not very fussy.

Nice and warm hotel with great location

my stay in singapore with my mother was made special due to the location of this hotel. so centrally located, we could wander around the city even at late hours. the room size & hotel layout was nice. was impressed by the lobby on the 6th floor.

Good service
Good service. Near shopping centre like Raffles City and night spots.

The service at the counter was a little slow when i first went to check in. However, the service person was really nice and she had a smile on. She even upgraded my room to a superior with no charge at all.
Facilities are good, only less than 5 mins walk from city hall mrt as well. Super convenient.

The hotel itself seems a bit worn and has surely seen better days. The staff is fine, but the hotel was overbooked when we arrived and we could only get a twin bed room, which we were later able to change to a double bed - but on a smoking floor. Pretty bad experience. We onyl stayed 2 nights and then moved directly to Furama City Centre close by which is cheaper and much, much better. Only go for this hotel if you are out of other options - there are much better alternatives for the price. The breakfast is below average.

Good location, a little tired but comfortable
great location, close to mrt, minutes to orchard rd, chinatown, marina bay

I was given a twin room at the back of the hotel above the central fire depot which I think was based on the rate I paid but bc I was travelling alone it didn't really matter. For what I wanted it was perfect bc I could get everywhere I needed to go very easily.
Nightlife Tip:
Make sure you head to Chinatown Night Markets for cheap shopping and great food.

Good location, semi-sweet club level

the location of the hotel was fine, relatively close to many restaurants and shops. We went to the marina bay sands mall and saw wicked at the theater there...very awesome! the club level was not what it was cracked up to be. outside of the coffee served, it was no better than a lower end buffet breakfast that did greasy eggs. the drinks in the evening were fine but food was not so great. No wireless in rooms, leave your ipad at home! Gym was a little under par and the pools were fine.

Go to a show at the Marina Bay Sands Theater!
