Great Location
Right in the civic center district, near to mueseums, monuments, Marina Bay Sands, ...

Was there for the Marathon Singapore. It is very convenient, as the end point is just couple of minutes walk away.
Shopping Tip:
Funan is branded as the IT mall, check out the prices there, and then head over to Sim Lim Square to compare the prices. All the major Photographic shops in Singapore are very near by to this hotel.

nice clean hotel with a special lobby pool

we stayed at 2 rooms in the peninsula excelsior with our daughter, son in law and baby to celebrate her turning a year old. we were given connecting rooms which was really thoughtful of them, at the 22nd floor. unfortunately we were not able to get tower with the rooms facing the marina bay, so we got the pool view plus a bit of the marina bay landscape not covered by the tower. the rooms were very clean, also the toilet and bath. the place was walking distance to marina bay area and we enjoyed a lot of the sights and eating places there at night.the rooms have no free wi fi but the beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. very close to mrt stn and has a good view of the supreme court, st andrews church, part of suntec city, front desk staff cheerful. the pool with the transparent sides looking out to the lobby was fun to swim in. there was a smell of cigarette smoke on the corridor. all together, a good experience, and next time we hope to get the room with un obstructed view
Hotel Feature Tip:
dip in the lobby pool and ask someone to take your picture from the lobby to get a unique shot surely you don't have a similar one!

Lovely ambience and great service

The hotel lobby was lovely and the crew service was excellent and friendly.
The room was cozy and clean. It is not a small room, it is a middle-size room. Great for couple who are having honeymoon.
The location of the hotel was great as it is within walking distance to Raffles MRT.

Hotel is next to Riffle place, Robinson shopping mall...good locaiotion and nice to walk around cause a lot historical place are near by. Orcahrd is about 10 min by Taxi and it may cost about 10 SGD. Also can take public transport i.e MRT subway station is 5 min walk from hotel. Funan digital IT mall is next to the hotel and good to buy IT stuffs there instead of going to Simlim Squre.
Shopping Tip:
Big shopping malls i.e. riffle, Robinson, Funan, etc..are next to hotel.

i asked fkr the excelsior tower and did the right thing. nice room, plenty of spave and 2 big windows. neighbourhood is great with a lot of local and foreign restaurants around the corner. service was great and all of this for a very reasonable price.

Good location, close to City Hall MRT. For meals is also easy to get. Near to Funan IT Mall, so for anyone that like and enjoy to find IT peripherals and electronic equipment, it is a good place to stay. In general, good at a price promotion that I got yesterday.

second tie we've stayed at the hotel within 18 months, centraly situated which makes getting around on trains buses and taxis so easy. some great food outlets and shopping nearby.
disappoited that thet dont have free wifi. its something i wouuld expect from a hotel of this level. wifi is available only in the lbby but is expensive and so is using the business centre($2 per page for printing)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari zoo are must do's as is Sentosa Island

Good location but the room smell very humid

This hotel located in very good location. It is very near MRT Cityhall, around 2-3 minutes walk. That's only one things I like. Because based on the price I paid for the hotel, its quality is so bad. The room is super humid esp. the pillow that smell so bad. There is no breakfast for this hotel too.
