It was so slipper in your bath tub,and bad in the height to get off after the shower, and I felt off twice from the tub when I finished the shower.This is a complain.

We had a nice stay at this hotel, the rooms were small and basic but it was quite clean. bit of a 90's feel to it and smoke smell in the corridors. The gym and pool are quite good, but mostly its just a place to put your head down after a full on day sightseeing in singapore.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
day at the beach in sentosa if time allows

great service from the moment we checked in. very clean spacious room, though the step into the bathroom caused a stubbed toe! they offered us a late check out (of 2pm) at no additional charge and held our baggage until we were ready for our departing flight. an absolute delight!
Nightlife Tip:
The Old Cuban! Cheap cold beer and fresh chilli crap..a MUST!

You can walk everywhere from the hotel. Or take the MRT which is just 2 mins walk from the hotel. The room is small but very clean. The area is very safe to walk at night. The shopping centre is 10mins walk. Overall is great if you go for sight seeing.

the lobby is elevated - above ground floor and i guess is in between the two towers that the hotel based on. the swimming pool nicely situated but with less privacy to those who is going to enjoy the swimming pool facilities. check-in was in a rush because they were changing shift if i'm not mistaken and i think my check-in was done manually. so problem did arise and someone did try to open my room but luckily i locked it extra security. but the hotel management did apologize through phone and in person. but the damaged is done without giving any special treatment in return of the discomfort. i believe they can do more to make my stay more enjoyable.

managed to get a great deal on a great hotel - definitely 5 star quality and a stone's throw from clarke quay. the amenities of the hotel were great, although the lobby area was a little hard to locate given that it is not on the main floor of a multi-use building. in any event, it was a great stay and would highly recommend it.

Peninsula Excelsior Hotel located in the heart of Singapore. It only takes a couple of minutes walk to MRT train station. Right across from the street is Peninsula Plaza where you can find all authentics Burmese foods with very reasonable price. I have stayed at Peninsula Excelsior hotel in the past, now, and I will stay again when I come in to town. I do highly recommend this hotel.
