Good hotel, friendly staff,
Neat well appointed rooms, good reception, efficient staff.

Stay was pleasant, have been staying in this hotel regularly for last 22 yrs(1989). Things have improved after their last renovation.
Very convenient location.
However the smell of cigarette from the beds was a bit putting off.
Prices have have increased substantially in the recent 1 or 2 years. They are a bit high for this hotel in spite of all the pluses mentioned here.

regular stay with nothing much to shout about. location though in the city , still need to take a taxi for great shopping area or for good food.
room features are common like most other hotels within the same price range and grade.
will definitely look at other hotels when in singapore again.

Was given a smokers room although I do not smoke.The shower stall allows water to flood the floor area. The internet (wi-fi) was a little expensive. ($15 for two hours). The internet in the coffee shop was not working. Overall I would recommend the hotel. Comfortable and clean.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Request a non smoking room if a non smoker. Be careful in the shower.

Peninsula is a good choice of hotel very handy for mtr (2 minutes walk). It was raining whilst we were there and the covered walkways were really handy you can spend most of the time underground in wet weather. This hotel is also near Marina Sands.
The only disappointing thing was the size of the bathroom which is very small. The bedroom itself is very large. An indoor swimming pool would be a recommendation instead of shopping all day if it is raining.

Nice Hotel with large rooms , exceletient location

The hotel was reasonably priced with good sized rooms. The worst part was the lifts, very slow and inconsistent, added was the lobby on the 7th level, which m,eant you had to go up-n-down to the lobby - very painful!

peninsula excelsior hotel has the best location in the city. it is very accessible to transportation like trains(smrt), buses, etc. my only cons is that they don't have any complimentary drinks offered. also, no free wi-fi.
