Great location and in heart of shopping if we had the chance but will be back next time and stay a bit longer. Nice walk around the park near the hotel, rain while we were there other half first time oversea so was eye opener for him.

The hotel just 1-2 minutes walk from city hall mrt and very close to raffle city mall, city link mall, suntec city. You can also walk to other tourist attractions such as esplanade, clark quay, boat quay, raffle hotel and so on. It's very good for the price.

Other than the location and friendly staff, there isn't much good to say about this place. The rooms are small, air-less and smell musty/damp. The first thing you notice as you walk in the room is a filthy window (I know its hard to keep them clean outside, but put up a net or nice blind to cover this). The bathroom is so small you can't turn round without knocking something. The breakfast was by far the worst buffet choice I have ever had in an international hotel, awful bread, cheap and tasteless 'no-brand' cereals, tinned fruit (why not fresh fruit in asia?). But the staff were very nice and friendly, just like most people we met in lovley Singapore.
Nightlife Tip:
Only 5 min walk to Boat Quay for a good choice of bars and restaurants!

located 5 minutes walking from city hall, this hotel is a great choice if you haven't been to Singapore. The exterior looks old and part of the room still looks old, however this cleaness of this hotel beat 5 star hotels.

i wish my room has flatscreen tv with better cable tv service.

Whether your meeting is in Marina Bay, Orchard Road's upper reaches, Suntec City, or government offices, all are extremely convenient to the hotel.
Eateries of all kinds and price ranges are nearby. You can walk equally to Raffles Hotel area
or the restaurants surrounding Boat Quay.
The hotel itself is value for money.
Staff friendly and informed.
I did not have a chance to try the facilities -- gym or pool or sample the restaurant
I would recommend it for business travellers.

The location is very convenient and the cost is reasonable. However it will be good if internet is complimentary. However housekeeping can be improved because, for example, the dustbin of the previous occupant was not emptied. Beds were not not made even after 5 pm for my second day stay.

Great location but small rooms
Very close to city hall MRT station, only five minutes walk. It is in within walking distance to tourists spots such as Esplanda.

Not particularly happy with my stay at the hotel. Rooms are not clean. My friend and I found a sock in a corner of the room. Duvet cover is dirty too. It seems to me that the room was not cleaned before we checked in. The batchroom was smelly. I won't choose this hotel next time I go to Singapore.
