Small but perfectly formed
Friendly & very helpful staff, perfect location in Chinatown
8.7
I really enjoyed my stay at the Porcelain Hotel. Located in a quiet street right in the middle of Chinatown. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room small but perfectly formed. Clean, cool and very comfortable. I would have no difficulty recommending this hotel to anyone planning to visit Singapore who would like to stay in Chinatown

Wonderful staying experience
Near MRT station and Comfortable room
9.7
Upon arrival, I was given surprises whereby they free upgrade my room to superior queen room. I loved the room very much with comfortable beds and nice bathroom layout. There is fridge and boiler for your convenience too. The hotel staffs and friendly and ready to help. One point to note is that there will be rubbish collector coming once every few nights. You might get the awful smell in your room.

great location but small rooms
6.7
The room is too small, can't keep the big baggage, there's no space.
staying 2 people in 1 room is quite cramped.
the water in the restroom not flow, so when taking a shower, there's a flood.
the location of this hotel is very good, easy to find, only 5 minutes by walk from the station.
very convenient to go anywhere.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Universal studio is the best and easy to go from hotel

excellent location, minute rooms
gracious and obliging front desk staff
7.3
Rooms suitable for travellers with minimal luggage and those who have no difficulty climbing up onto bed. Location excellent to MRT and all cuisines.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Ask for a room with a window not facing the street

Great location but small rooms
Really close to the MRT station. Everything you need can be found in that small room
9.3
Yes the room is small, but they put everything you need in that tiny room. There is a toiletries set provided to you daily, hair dryer, water boiler, LCD TV, locker, hangers and distilled water. The toilet is actually larger than I expected.
The best thing about this hotel is its perfect location. Only 3 minutes walk from the MRT station. There are many shops and restaurants just downstairs. The famous Chinatown Yakun and Spizza are 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
The corridors and rooms are a bit dark but for me it is acceptable. It is a little noise coming from the construction site near by.
Yet, my Singaporean friend said this hotel is relatively expensive for a hotel in Chinatown.
Nightlife Tip:
St James Power Station and Clarke Quay are definitely places you must go. The Boiler Room at St James Power Station is the best.
