excellent location. small but clean rooms
few minutes walk to mrt station. friendly staff.

whilst i had a pleasant and comfortable stay at porcelain hotel, i felt that it's been overrated - more like a 3.5 star than a 4.
staff was very friendly. rooms were smaller than i expected but comfortable enough to live in and bum around for a few hours a day. most of the toilets are not properly segregated so expect to have wet toilet floors. i requested for a larger bathroom where the toilet bowl area won't be splashed....in return i got a smaller room (with a stench - but they later sent housekeeping to spray). i was fine with that.
location - don't have to pay premium price to be in the orchard area but less than 10 minutes by mrt. best of both worlds. if you're hungry, plenty of restaurants open till late.

The price was right for this hotel room. Though the rooms were extremely small with nearly no floor space, it was modern and well-equipped. Just what we needed for a short stay in Singapore.

I traveled for business and stayed one night at this hotel. The location is great, in the middle of china town and only one minute to the station. The room had no windows and was very small, however, very nice decorated and enough if you spend not much time in the room. The staff was very nice. The hotel is no-smoking, so if you smoke, you shall look for another alternative.

Very good hotel in the centre of Chinatown for a reasonable price. Stay was enjoyable the room was clean and they Had a good range of toiletries. The actual size of the room was small but planned well to maximize the space. The bathroom was well equipped with a large rain shower. However a place to put some soap would have been nice. We didn't like the dark blue color of the room as it felt a bit gloomy for a small space.
We would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to visit Singapore as the price and location are what matters most.

Clean and convenient but No sound proof!

honestly, we are satisfied with the price, service, location, cleanliness and almost all things of this hotel. the only thing we cannot tolerate is the noise from the shower, water flushing, people talking at the corridor and almost all sorts of noise. this is the one and only bad points we could think of.

this hotel can recognize agoda voucher and fast admin proccess for check in.
the location is very strategic. 5-10 minutes walk to chinatown mrt station and very near to chinatown food city (smith st)
the lobby is not large, but still have chair for 3-4 person to sit around.
in the room the size quiet small, but still acceptable if you just need the hotel for sleeping and rest. also they have good basic facility like hair dryer, hot water for shower, free internet access.
for tv channel they only have 8 channel, again you won't really need it if you just need hotel for rest in the night.

Simple Clean Rooms in a convenient location in Chi

The rooms are very clean and had just all the necessity. Rooms are small, but otherwise it was a nice stay for the economic price.
The hotel itself was just one street away from the main Chinatown street and Chinatown metro exit. It was very convenient indeed. Give half an hour and you can walk to the riverside :DD
The staff was very nice and hospitable. They responded to our confusion about the room assignment quite efficiently and patiently.

Great hotel

it was a great experience. the hotel is affordable and neat. the bathroom is also clean. the bedroom might be small, but it is enough for a traveler who is looking for economic hotel. the close proximity with the mrt station might be the prime advantage that should come into mind. overall, it is a great hotel. the staffs were helpful and friendly.
