Great location but small rooms

I went there on a short 4 day trip with 3 nights at the hotel. We had a standard queen room. Our initial impression of the hotel was - great location. We arrived on Chinatown via MRT and within minutes we were able to locate Mosque Rd. where our hotel was situated. It’s about 3 mins walk from the MRT to the hotel, so for travelers who would do most of their travelling on MRT like us, this is very convenient. The area also has plenty of food and shopping throughout the day.
The check-in process was smooth, and staffs were friendly and helpful. I had a faulty safe on my room. Gave a call to the reception and they sent a staff to my room and try to fix it. It didn’t work so they replace a new one the next day when they have an extra available.
The rooms are very small, for the ‘larger’ travelers you may want to be prepared, since moving around the room requires some finesse due to the limited space available. After placing our luggages, there isn’t exactly a lot of space to move around. The bathroom is of normal size. That isn’t too much of a concern for us, since most of the time spent was outside.
Rooms and hotel interior are clean, coffee and tea provided in the rooms with a water boiler. There’s a spa with the hotel for those who are in for a more luxurious trip. Free wifi is available in the rooms as well. The speed is nothing to shout about, but good enough for casual surfing . Comes in handy if you need to research your travel plans.
Overall, the hotel was good. For its relatively budget price, the location was exceptional.

Expensive, tiny and dusty "cabin room"

the only thing that we enjoy about this hotel is the free wifi and the mrt station nearby (but then again, there are other hotels that are near the station too). rooms are very tiny. we have never seen such a tiny room before. it only took us 7 steps to walk from the door to the bed. the toilet door cannot be locked too. room is very dusty (i can see layers of dust on my handphone which was left on the table). the wall between rooms are almost non-existent that you can hear almost everything (we were also unfortunate to have a family with baby staying right opposite us). every night, from about 12+am onwards (that was what we experienced in our 2 nights there), the rubbish truck would come and the sound that came from the vehicle was so loud and annoying that it disturbed our much-needed rest so much. mind you, we were at level 3 of the hotel and still the noise was so clear that made us wonder how the rest at level 2 and 1 are coping with this. will not recommend this hotel at all. with such budget, you can get a way better hotel anywhere else.

quite pricey for a small room, location is convenient. the room size shown on the internet looks rather spacious but it's actually pretty small and quite deceiving. cool designs of room, comfortable and clean. i don't understand the concept of the "open" bathroom and sliding doors to bathroom with gaps? not much privacy to that.

this has to be one of the more stylish hotels in chinatown. however, it's almost too stylish for its own good. the rooms are already small and the color scheme makes them even feel smaller. they are just too dark with not enough light. also, a bigger mirror would be nice.

porcelain hotel is a new budget hotel in chinatown of singapore. even though the rooms are not big. but they are clean. we can easily find foods and do shopping nearby. nearest tourist attraction is the sri mariamman hindu temple just a short stroll awal. best of all mrt station that can lead to every good places in singapore. since we only sleep at night and out most of the day, so we do not require spacious & expensive rooms.

Absolutely no frills, smallest room ever stayed

Nice exterior that's about it. No restaurants, no conceirge no service. Have stayed in better no frills budget hotels. Room carpet, wall, glass r all black an dark blue with only spotlights.I did not finish my stay there and moved as they were also not willing to upgrade. Definitely not worth the price.

Plus: Location was very convenient and close to many options for dinner and breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The decor was beautiful
Cons: Room was extremely small and cramp. Totally not up to my expectations. Noisy at night due to its close proximity to the main road and breakfast was not provided.
I believe that there are better options with more value for money out there.
