Small room but perfect for a weekend in Singapore
Friendly staff, close to MRT, nice area
6.7
Rooms can be pretty small depending on the type you choose, but they are well arranged. Good staff, clean rooms, wi-fi included. Close to Chinatown MRT. Nice area and beautiful architecture. It is easy to get something to eat in the surroundings. Stayed in this hotel 1.5 years ago and so far, it is the best value for money in Singapore.

clean and comfortable stay in Chinatown
location, comfortable bed, design
7.7
Although small, the room was very comfortable and well designed. A lot of amenities were cleverly tucked away in cupboards. The bed was very comfortable and the shower large. Only downside was that there is no window in the room, but that seems common in Singapore.

Room stayed:Standard Queen
Day: 2 Day 1 night
No window, quite small (expected in Singapore), clean, no worries mid night walk back from Clarke Quay, clean, fast internet, not noisy, is a themed hotel, feel different when u walked in compare to other 3 star hotel, not the kind of hotel in Geylang, wife feel happy with this room.

claustrophobic
Near to Restaurants, situated in China town
3.3
The porcelain hotel is situated in China town and easy walking distance to many restaurants; which was good because you did not want to stay in this hotel room. It was so small about 2 feet in which to move the bed was pushed up against the wall and the designer in his/her wisdom had painted the room in a deep blue walls ceiling every thing, the shower was good but floor ceiling and walls in black tiles. It really was like walking into a dark cave. You could have put up with this if the room had a window but the shower room and the bedroom had NO window. My husband was so claustrophobic he could not sleep. I think to have a bedroom with no window is quite unacceptable; we had been travelling and were so tired I should have complained and moved rooms. We had a terrible night got up at 6am and got out of the room . The reception was not helpful or friendly. We would never stay here again and warn others to check their room has ventilation.

The room was very very small. Only suitable for solo traveller . Nothing to shout about the hotel amenities . A very normal hotel that near the area where tourist like to know about what the like of early Singapore look like. Not very safe at night time. Not much lighting along the street too.
