Great location but small rooms
7.3
A stylish and character hotel, clean and with great location, just a few minutes walk to the MRT station, shopping area and restaurants. However, the room is really small, which is no place to walk in the room once you have opened the suitcases. Anyway, it is a nice hotel.

good location + service - watch for room window
all front staff are really willing to help - very nice experience
8.3
That standard rooms are without window is understandable as the price is just slightly above budget hotel but are still much nicer rooms then the budget chains. That some rooms several steps above Standard may also be without window is not undertandable. If window is important to you (I need fresh air for good night sleep), be sure you communicate that well in advance. I feel the aspect of having a window or not should be clearly defined in their room category choices. I booked an Executive room to be sure to have window but learnt not all Exec rooms have. It does not help when there are many more room category choices than shown in various online hotel booking websites and the definition of window has since been dropped in their room descriptions. Having said all that, the front staff really help to find a room with window then, and that is the only problem I have with this location. I will most certainly continue to come back for sure (as I already have so many times) as long as I get a room with a window ... and so far I always have because all the front staff are so good in helping finding solution.

As always a lovely place to stay
9.3
It was my second time at the Porcelain hotel. I am very happy with my choice, in the heart of the lively and colourful district of Chinatown. Obviously the rooms are very small, but they include all the amenities and facilities you require for a shorter stay. And after all one does not visit Singapore nor Chinatown there to stay in the room. Really looking forward to my next trip.

Nice hotel but room very small

the room are quite small, but it's comfortable, the decoration, arrangement are perfect, especially the glass bath room. the location of the hotel very convenient, walking distance to china town with plentiful of choice of foods, colorful street even though the surrounding building are more than a decade old but it have been well preserve and maintain, same as the hotel, it has the taste of 19th century.

Great location but small rooms
5.7
The room was smaller than it looked like on the photos. Whenever the room beside open or close their doors , you will heard the sound like someone's knocking your room door . It's annoying ...
Restaurant Tip:
Suitable for anyone who is interested in Chinese food

perfect boutique hotel in Chinatown
Clean, good bed, nice decor
8.3
Like all hotels in Singapore, rooms are small, but these are well thought out and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, the hotel quiet and (for me) perfectly situated (I prefer Chinatown to the river).
They gave me a free upgrade from 'standard' to 'delux' without asking, which made the stay even better (the room was thus generous by Singapore standards).
Note: I did not try the food/dining but you don't have a N/A rating
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Two minutes walk from Chinatown centre and a block further to the Hawkers Bazarre (which if you like proper cheap chinese food - is the best place to eat anywhere).
