Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Good location, tiny rooms
Good location in Chinatown
5
Was there for 6 nights because of work. I booked a Deluxe Queen room which is a way too small and nothing for people with claustrophobia. No space for the luggage and toilet and shower comined on 2 m². Booking rates also hrough Agoda are a way too expensive for that. Complained at reseption on 2nd day and got a much nicer upgraded room for small money. Still not big but o.k. for my stay. Staff is friendly.
Restaurant Tip:
Chinatown within walking distance. Good Chinese breakfast in Temple Street 39, Vegetarian Restaurant.

Good location. Staff is just ok.
6.3
I have stayed in this hotel for several consecutive months on business. It is an ok hotel. The rooms are very small. The staff is just ok. For a four star hotel, they really dont go above and beyond. It's relatively quiet for being in Chinatown. Very close to the metro (MRT), so that's really nice. The cleaning staff is poor. They have left dirty tissue in my room after cleaning, dont change my sheets often, the showers are not the best. However, it's probably the least expensive four star hotel you'll find in Singapore. Overall, I would not stay here again unless if all other options were way worse or out of my price range.

Helpful staff but very small rooms
5.3
even though the rooms were very small it was quite cozy however i wouldn't stay there for more than a couple of nights as by then i think you would be wanting some space especially for luggage etc. the staff there were very helpful and the day staff spoke very good english which helped a lot. would stay again just not for a long period of time.

Nice area to stay. Hotel is nice just the corridor is a bit dark and small. No bell boy so when have to carry more then 2 luggage is irritating. The staff just stay in reception desk and not much helping. The rooms is very bright when the sun up, no curtains at all.
Shopping Tip:
Nice market that sells so many little things.

Tiny rooms, no windows, ok location
5.7
Make sure to arrange your trip so that you spend minimal time in your room. Usually have no windows, small rooms, about 10 TV channels, ants in the room.
But, there is good food in the area, and the location is fine.

Awesome location but small rooms
Location. Right next to chinatown and close to the MRT to get around town.
7.7
It was a really good hotel and had a great location. On arrival we were upgraded to an executive room but it was still quite small for two people. However the rooms were nice and had everything you needed. A negative would be that the hotel had a very slight damp smell in the hallways and rooms.
