Value for money as the room and bed were spacious. Not much hotel amenities and difficult to travel to town area. Accessible to those with cars.

Huge room, Very clean and Great Location
Huge room, friendly staff
8.7
I will absolutely come back to this hotel. The room is clean and huge, enough for 4 adults. Its walking to orchard road, only 10 minutes walking.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you travel with more than 2 adults, just book the Double Queen / Queen Executive room.

Hotel with huge rooms
Spacious room (deluxe queen), with rooms looking as presented in pictures Good mattress provided (Slumberland) Decent TV channels - CNN, Fox Movie Premium, Star World, etc on a flat screen TV Free Wi-Fi offered to hotel guest Complimentary car park for hotel guest Came with table, microwave, safe, fridge, additional seats, hair dryer
6.7
no breakfast provided - did not matter to me
shower flow could have been better
reception staff were rather unfriendly - none of the staff offered smiling
no shuttle bus was provided as compared to the other hotels in the area (required a 10 min walk to junction of orchard road and tanglin road)
occasional air-conditioner (split a/c) water leaks (nothing too major)

lovely hotel and nice rooms
7.3
I like to stay in this hotel's sometimes with my family. I love the locations not too far from orchard road. Nice room with good amenities, also big enough and very clean. The food is fine, the staff performance are good. No regrets for staying there, hopefully can stay again.

Serenity at city's fringe
Stones throw away to complete shopping needs in Orchard Road.

45 minutes directly from airport in heavy traffic. 10 minutes to shopping places around. Everything under the sun. Well, almost. Food varieties within short taxi distance. Comfortable and spacious room for the reasonable price paid. Very friendly, receptive and informative staffs. Only less than half hour travel on return to airport. Overall satisfaction.
Shopping Tip:
Shop during working hours ie 10am to 5pm during christmas shopping season. Avoid evening shopping during weekends. Shoppers packed to th brim. December can be rainy. Umbrellas can be useful.

Very relax for a city hotel
Big room, comfortable room, quite
6.7
It was great because we have 2 children. They loved the big size of our room. Even though it isn't so close to Orchard Road and doesn't have easy access to public transportation (we had to wait very long for a cab when it was raining.

It's very far to walk from the hotel to Orchard, no public transport nearby other than cab. The hotel lobby is a bit hard to identify, especially during raining season and all the glass around are misty.
No mini bar, no complimentary mineral water.
Even convenient shop is very far from the hotel, no eatery nearby.
Good if you're driving because there's lots of parking space.

good location in the city
6.3
stay only for one night, came for business trip. the room cleanliness is acceptable, service average, great location in the city, not far from eateries.the hotel is quite okay in maintenance.buffet for breakfast is so so, standard varieties are available. overall, everything is average, not too bad, but certainly not as well as expected from a 4 star hotel.

Good lacation And value for money
6.3
Solid and respectable, the Blakeney has been a hotel since 1980, but currently it is not a little confusing, like being in two quite different establishments at the same time, one cool and stylish, the other thoroughly old hat. Take, for example, the two sitting rooms. The one on the ground floor is a sea of identical dark red armchairs where thoughts of nursing homes crowd in. But the upstairs sitting room has been decorated in soothing shades of cream, heather and dove grey and makes an elegant contemporary base in which to read or contemplate or take afternoon tea
