Relaxing at the end of the day

The rooms were really spacious and clean but I wished they had single rooms for solo travelers. The hotel is relaxing and nice to come back to at the end of a busy (sightseeing) day. The location is great if you enjoy walking to Orchard Road for about 10 minutes. But I learned from the staff that how to catch the local bus from the back entrance of the hotel so it made moving around easier. Children running around, screaming and slamming doors in the hallway was a problem during the day when I had to rest due to a headache. But overall I had a pleasant stay and would like to stay there again.

This is a language school that rents out rooms in the building. I felt that it was overpriced but if you are a large group on a budget, you might find this hotel to be of value because its rooms are large. Don't be misled into thinking that this hotel is close to the MRT station. It is actually 15-20 minutes away and you do not want to walk that distance in the Singapore heat.

Friendly and homely staff, quiet surroundings and spacious rooms.

The room has a musky smell but it is very spacious. The location is located in orchard but not very accessible to major shopping centres. You need to walk and take a bus out. Not convenient it is is raining. The breakfast is not fanastic either. However friendly staff makes my day.
