location, near MRT Doby Ghaut, walking distance to Raffles Place and Chijmes as well as to Orchard Road. Rooms compared to similar rated hotels relatively dark and a bit smaller The lobby is quite small; the pool is ok, but has not much sun. The price for breakfast is a bit expensive, you are better off dining or breakfasting out. Unfortunately there were no complimentary bottles of water in my type of room compared to all other hotels I stayed in. All in all there are better hotels in the price category of the Rendezvous.

i would say location is the only good thing about this hotel. any hotel who classified themself in the high end market and uses curtain show screen and charge you for a bottle of water and using wireless internet should be under the hostel classifications not as a hotel. i could not sleep for the 2 nights i was there. the energy in this hotel was so bad, staff looked as worn out as the hotel .. this place needs a major make up. younger staff and more appealing unless they going to cater for people in the 70s+ for the rest of their life before the place crumbles ..
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : great public transportation. get the MRT.

The location is good, near to Dhoby Ghaut subway station, shopping malls and the attractions. The rooms are small. The attitudes of some staffs are not very friendly. Restaurant Tip : Ya Kun Toast is a strong recommendation. The nearest one is in Raffles, about 15 minutes' walk from the hotel.

Hotel location is excellent for shopping and dining. It is very close and walking distance to subway station and shopping malls. A lot of Restaurants close by the hotel and plenty of selection of difference variety of food to choose. There is a cinema just next by the hotel at The Cathay mall which is handy to kill some time. The only weakness is lack of hotel porter and staff when i arrive because i have to take all my luggage to my room and the counter person said they are lack of porter but there were any customer around. i think they should concentrate on this area.

Comfortable room, clean, reasonable price. No toothbrush and toothpaste. The hotel is located right in the middle of the city centre because it is both near to Orchard road, and also near to the City hall and Raffles square. It is also just 4 MRT stations away from Harbour front and is convenient for those who visit Sentosa. The room is very clean and the cleaning staff even put our cloths tidily.

center of Singapore, nice facilties, good breakfest Elegant hotel in the middle of Singapore. Staff responsive but a bit slow. You have everything in the room and all is easy to use. Rooms a bit small but I think they all are in middle of the city. Walking distance from the art museum. Breakfast in the 1st flour cafe was good with western and local variety and nice view to the street. I will certainly come again

I found the place clean, comfortable and efficiently run Roms are a little small - but I guess thats the singapore norm Its quite an elegant hotel and modern, made to look older externally to better blend with surrounding architecture. Its an easy wald to Dhobi Gho MRT station, and it appears a new line and a new station (Bras Basah) are just about to open..even closer. Its a pleasant level walk to Chimes, Raffles and from there past the Parliament, St Andrews Catherdal and the Supreme Courts to Boat Quay and Clarke Quay. Basically al the nice tourist spots in Singapore ! The hotel itself is very comfortable. I must admit I did not eat at the hotel prefering the wide variaty of meals in Kopitiam instead...just next door. I will certainly use it again
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : I visited Sentosa for the first time in many years. It used to be a nice quiet place, but now its essentially a theme park. I would not go there again

brilliant location. just a few mins walk from orchard road and the local MRT Station. staff very helpful. The reception people need to improve - they did not smile & acknowledge us when we walked in. There was no eye contact. The hotel is really in a very strategic place. Real good location- as it is close to Dhoby Ghaut MRT station and Orchard Road. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The travel desk guys were helpful too and were ever ready to provide any information requested. There are lots of restaurants and eateries around - with a wide range of food. You can have Thai cuisine, local cuisine and even Italian food. Absolutely fantastic.

The hotel has classic yet modern feature. Very strategic because it's located near Dhoby Gaut MRT, an interchange that connects Orchard, Harborfront, Zoo, Little India, China Town and many other interesting places. Clean and spacious room. The hotel staff, especially the ladies are not so friendly. Rendezvous hotel is located at the end of Orchard Street and it's very close to many interesting shopping places, eatery (from the cheap to the chic) and cinema. I was lucky enough, without knowing previously, that an Indian thanksgiving festival was held during my stay. It was the Thaipusam. The great thing is, the parade passed by Prinsep Street, in front of Rendezvous. Although there's a viewing mall available, I am so happy to watch it around the traffic light in front of the hotel because they stopped before the traffic marshal cross them to Orchard Street. Rendezvous is truly a place I'd visit again when I'm in Singapore.

Location is the best! This hotel is close to MRT and all the shopping places. Rooms are nice and clean. There's only two counters for the check-in and check-out. I arrived at the hotel around 1 pm, there are so many people were waiting to check-in. I had to wait for 20 minutes to be able to check-in to the hotel. This hotel is in a very nice location, close to MRT and shopping area. It's also very close to city hall and Merlion Park. Stuffs are helpful when I ask for the direction.

The room had no slippers and toothpaste. The room was rather smaller than I have expected.So many kids visited that sound proof was not well handled. The location was good because there were many buses around the hotel to the city center. I did not have breakfast in the hotel but I visited Kopitiam food center which is just across the road. It was quite cheap there. The room was neat and nice to stay but not many amenities.There were many kids coming for the school trip so it was very noisy at first hand but the bed was comfortable enough for me to fall in sleep.
Restaurant Tip : There is Kopitiam Foodcenter right next to the building and it was quite cheap to try local food.

Convinient location.

Good location for shopping Far from the nightlife of the quay. Good location and very close to major shopping areas. Good asthetics in lobby. Staff were helpful and very attentive. Room was what you would expect from the money. Smelt a bit musty?? Nice pool which was quiet. Hot water went off for nearly a whole day while we were there- a problem for most of the rooms. Was fixed by the next morning though no compensation/etc offered.

location! Near shopping/cinemas(Plaza Sing, Cathay Cineplex, Orchard, Cityhall), lots of food choices, MRT station expensive internet access This was the second time I had stayed in Rendezvous. As compared to the first visit, it was a better experience this time round (maybe because I got such a good promotional rate online!). Check-in was rather painless and staff was friendly in offering help with baggage and getting cabs when needed. It was great that this had become a non-smoking hotel as well.
I had requested for a double-bed when I booked through Agoda, however unfortunately this was not communicated to the hotel. Good thing was the hotel managed to get us switched to another room on the 2nd night, which was much better (more spacious and bigger LCD tv) than the 1st. Stayed 5 nights in total. Generally this hotel is very convenient and comfortable - however if not for the cheap promotional rate, I may not come back.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : check out Clarke Quay, Little India, Arab Street and Chinatown (all within 15mins walk/drive from hotel).

Perfect location, bus stop is only 10 metres from the hotel's side entrance, a lot of food stalls around the hotel no complimentary drink for superior room, dirty spoon and utensils, no room sandals, old
and broken hair dryer, blood strains on bed sheet, very small & old tv We recommend the superior room only for solo traveler. Location is very good, only 5 minutes from nearest mrt station, and less than a minute away from bus stop. Museums and churches are also very easy to reach by walking, if you like various local food, you can find many food stalls around the hotel. The bad things are, bathroom's floor was quite dirty (although they already put dark yellow color tile with hairy motif on the bathroom), also bad smell of coffee on the water boiler indicating they never check it, no room sandals available upon check in (you should ask for it), no complimentary drink (and no price list for the minibar items, and they charged almost $8 for smallest bottle of evian water). My wife's finger was bleeding because of the sharp handle of the old cabinet. Cleaning service staffs are mostly too old to work there. Checking in process was handled nicely by a chinese staff but checking out was rather cold by non chinese staff. Possibly go back to this hotel only if i travel alone
