It feels and looks up-market and professiional. The room was comfortable. The room was small and appeared dark as most of the day it did not get sunlight. It overlooked the swimming pool which again did not get a lot of sunlight. The English (western) tv channels were limited; to spend a night in (as I did due to having minor surgery) I had to pay to view a film to be able to watch anything relaxing. There was no complimentary drinking water - everything was charged. I booked this hotel on the recommendation of a (male) friend. I would not book this hotel again, for these reasons. Everything is charged, drinking water and Internet at 5Sd per minute. The public phone didnt work and nobody attempted to find an alternative for me. I left a message for my (same) friend before he checked out, but I dont think he recieved it from the reception staff since he did not contact me and I know he would have. The food is expensive and if you like to pay these prices you would not see a problem. However in Singapore there are many good and less expensive alternatives. The poolside has little ambiance and it is surrounded by the walls and windows of hotel rooms. The facilities are OK the decor is OK the position is OK. In the end it is personal choice.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Singapore Art Museum is nearby and an inexpensive 24 hour food court. There is also a supermarket and other ammenities like hairdresser and laundry facilities in the PoMo shopping Centre.

right on orchid rd. - within walking distance of food shopping etc.

bed was too firm for my taste, but wasn't terrible. overall a great stay, good value, close to MRT station and within walking distance of everything on orchid rd. i'd come back because of the location and value. taxi's knew the spot fine and you can even take mrt right from the airport.
Restaurant Tip : food court across from hotel by 7/11 is worth checking out.

Good location. Very nice room, big comfortable bed, everything clean and in good condition.Good value. No TV channels worth watching, unless you want to pay for the movies. The Rendezvous hotel is in a good location at the end of Orchard Road. Two minutes' walk from Dhoby Ghout MRT, major bus stop right outside, a walk to the Orchard shops or to the Bugis district.Check in was very quick and efficient.The lobby is quiet and civilised, not full of tour groups like some places.The room was clean and everything was in good condition.Efficient maid service. The bed was very comfortable with excellent bedding.Good gym and swimming pool.The only complaint is that the TV (a nice big LCD) had only a limited number of channels in various languages, but nothing worth watching in my opinion. No free movie channels or international news channels. I guess they do that to encourage you to pay for the pay-by-view movies.
Hotel Feature Tip : Good deals in the 'Deli' restaurant at the hotel.

Close to Dhoby Ghaut MRT station Extremely expensive breakfast Great location of the Hotel very close to Dhoby Ghaut MRT from where you can go almost everywhere. Walking distance both to Orchard and to the quays (if you like walking). The room was ok but nothing special, comfortable bed and a big bathroom. Very expensive breakfast so we ate outside of the hotel.
Shopping Tip : Orchard Rd of course, but we also really liked Marina Square.

Central location, comfortable rooms, excellent service, courteous staff. Sadly, ( it was very hot outside) the pool was out of commission. We stopped over in Singapore on our journey from Kenya to Sydney because we wanted to rest after a very enjoyable but tiring Safari.
The Rendez-vous Hotel was the perfect hotel, all we did in those 2 days was sleep and eat. We stayed mostly within the hotel as it was very hot outside - we used the Gym,the lounge Bar and the coffee shop and found the service and food excellent.
We would have loved to use the pool but unfortunately it was under repairs.
ALl in all a very peasant and comfortable Stay!
Restaurant Tip : The food is good and it has an extensive menu.

Not a bad hotel for a short stay but the rooms were quite small compared to some hotels I have stayed in at the same price in Singapore. Breakfast not included either. Its a completely non smoking hotel- that means going onto the street which was annoying. Pool was shut for renevations with no prior warning and when I asked reception what was going on they didnt even know it was happening!! Good location close to lots including MRT. 2 english channels on the TV. Did not eat at the hotel.

The hotel staffs are accommodating to our concerns You must bring some toiletries like toothbrush & toothpaste since they don’t include that for superior room We had a great stay at the Rendezvous Hotel. The hotel staffs are accommodating to our concerns although we are early for the designated check in. We availed the superior room of the hotel and it really exceeds our expectation. But you must bring some toiletries like toothbrush & toothpaste since they don’t include that for superior room accommodation. They are stores like 7-11 or Watson’s store near the hotel to buy your toiletries and other personal needs. There are a lot of nice food courts around the vicinity of the hotel. The hotel is accessible to MRT, bus stops, malls and other places of interest. I would definitely recommend Rendezvous hotel to my friends and relatives.
Good points; good service, nice & clean room, good location of hotel
Negative; we are not advised that there was an unbilled security deposit reflected in our credit card which the receptionist explained to us as part of their hotel procedure. the security deposit was cancelled after a week.

Great location, Great price, walking distance to most attractions No breakfast included, bit of a walk to most shopping centres on orchard road This hotel is great, located at the end of orchard road right near Cathay shopping mall and the MRT station. It’s located within walking distance to little India and Bugis street markets and a short trip on the MRT to Chinatown. We stayed here for 6 nights found the rooms to be spacious and clean. There is a pool on level 3 which we found to be great to sit around after a long day shopping. The lobby bar has great happy hour deals of an evening, I recommend trying a Singapore sling there and the staff at the bar and friendly. We will recomend this hotel to all of our friends for sure
Restaurant Tip : Head to the hawkers stalls in harbour front ( or Chinatown for a great, cheap meal

We chose the Rendezvous hotel because of its central location. It was easy and fast to go to Orchard Road, Little India, Chinatown, museums and the riverside restaurants. Two MRT stations are located about 5 minutes away, and a well-served bus stop is just outside the hotel entrance.
The restaurant is adequate for breakfast and the staff was usually friendly.
The hotel has old-world charm. Our room was comfortable but not large and the bathroom was very attactive and modern. We were on the street side, and the windows are double-glazed to cut out any traffic noises from the street below.
The air conditioning was quiet and not extreme.
As in many hotels of this category, the Internet rate was over-priced.
Restaurant Tip : For those who enjoy Asian food and are pressed for time, there is a large food court on the next street corner with a huge variety of dishes from different Asian countries.

i like the services provided by the hotel especially the door services and room services.
i like my room and the view from my room. I actually dislike the front liners (receptionist), My stay at rendezvous hotel was splendid, i like my room and its very clean. The room services is great and a kudos to the doormen. But i was soo disappointed with the receptionist's gestures. I arrived at night, was kinda tired but not a bit of smiles from them. Even when i checked out.Anyhoos..its ok as long as my room is clean.
Restaurant Tip : You'll find a lot of cafe's and restaurants as well as a 24hrs shops nearby.

location, clean, well appointed rooms Had a room with two single beds on the first night, rather than a double. Kids meals in hotel restaurant average (my kids a 5yr old & twin 3yr olds, preferred the hawker centre food). The Rendezvous Hotel is in a top location - within easy walk to a MRT station, the Plaza Singapura (head to the basement for some Carrifour (retail chain) bargains), and many cultural institutions (including the Singapore National Museum). After arriving on a budget airline at 4am in the morning, we unfortunately discovered our room was one with two single beds, rather than a double. The Reception was polite but could not assist us with a chaage of rooms. They did however, rectify taht by 4pm the following day, and the king size bed was a welcome sight. If tehre are more than one of you staying, make sure you ask for two bathrobes (for some reason the rooms only come with one). There is a Kopitiam recently opened across the road and a more traditional hawker centre (for food as well) about 100m from that. Also worth trying is the award winning laksa from teh hotel restaurant - it may come at 5x the price of a regular laksa, but it was mighty tasty. I would not reccomend the kids meals at the hotel restaurant.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Paying only $9.50 for an adult ticket to see a movie in the cinema around the corner was a pleasant surprise - much cheaper than most cinemas here in OZ.

Clean, luxurious and well situated. Ideal for business trips. The staff gives excellent service.
Rendezvous hotel is our company's favorite home away from home. It is requested by our officers when a trip to Singapore is being planned. The hotel has excellent service, its staff is well trained and always ready to help. The layout of the building is inviting and friendly and the rooms are well appointed with many pleasing details that make each stay a pleasure. Transportation to and from the hotel by cab is ideal and very accessible. The front desk is more than willing to assist all transportation needs. I will definitely book succeeding trips to Singapore for officers and personnel at the Rendezvous hotel.

Good specious room, clean and convenient location room amenities can be better The location is very convenient on Orchard Rd. near to Plaza Singapura, MRT station and the best thing for me is it is just 5 minutes away from ideal jogging course of Fort Cunning. Kopitiam foodcourt is at the next corner and other restaurants and bars are one block away. Hotel lobby is rather small and occasionally crowded with bus load of tourists. Room service was good and award winning laksa was very nice.
I will come back again as far as agoda offers attractive rate.
Restaurant Tip : Foodcourt, restaurants, bars and shopping mall full of attractions are within walking distance if you can bear with the tropical muggy weather.

Good value for money given the room I had, good location I chose this hotel for the convenient location and the excellent offer Agoda had at the time. the room was very adequate and comfortable, bathroom was excellent. The hotel os located within a reasonable walking distance of orchard road, sim lim computer plaza and chimes and across the street is an up market 7-11 - all in all a good choice.
