The best features of the hotel was its location, you can walk to most things and its value for money. It is clean and friendly staff make it an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was also good. There is nothing really to complain about, check in and out was very efficient. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Singapore.
Shopping Tip : Shopping is everywhere around the hotel, Orchard Rd, Sim Lim Square (Electronics) and Suntec.

Very convenient location, the hotel was super comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great! All the staff was very polite The swimming pool wasn't that great, but thats about it. If you are looking for a affordable hotel in a convenient location rendezvous is definately the place to stay. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was really clean and updated. The staff was nice and welcoming as well.

Location location location, very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms and quiet. Perhaps the bed was in need of balancing - a little bit inward sloping for a couple Rendezvous is an excellent spot in Singapore. Convenient to public transport, shopping an eating the location was brilliant. The service and amenities that we used was first rate and I would have no hesitation in returning. The access to a pool was welcome to escape the heat and humidity and a great way to recover from a days exploring of the many highlights this island nation has to offer.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The 10 minute walk to Little India for interesting sights, sounds and foods is a must!

Location was ok, good restaurants around, but everywhere in Singapore is close to restaurants, shops etc... Everything else:
Reception Staff - not good welcome.
Bed: king bed is made by pushing 2 twin together, so get a hard lump in the middle.. very uncomfortable.
Noise: can hear what everyone says, does in rooms and halls around you.
Water pressure in shower: very poor
Shower: step into bath..
Staff: someone please smile...
We asked about credit card guarantee for extras so we could plan for expenses - reception told us they would just take an "imprint" but we found they took a pre-authorisation "deposit" on our credit card, we understand this is normal procedure but this is not what reception told us, we then ensured we spent no other money in this hotel so they missed out on our meals, drinks and other expenses.
Rooms are noisy, staff are noisy going up and down the halls, the trolleys used in the hotel are noisy up and down the halls.
Water pressure is lousy,
No we wouldn't go back nor would we recommend.
Nightlife Tip : Just two blocks to CHIJMES - many restaurants and bars for great eating and entertainment..

They came to tell us that it is time out... please leave the room something like that.

The staff are polite and nice . Everything is small. The lobby is small the room is small and old even the bathroom is small. And when we want to drink some coffee there's no kettle . The bed.....cannot say anymore . All i can say is that im so dissapointed cause i paid much higher than the last hotel i stayed in singapore and im not satisfied with it. When i saw the picture in the net i was so excited and impress of this hotel but when i really saw the actual place im very very dissapointed. The room is very very small and i feel that i paid the wrong price for this hotel. Cause i stayed in some hotels in singapore that is cheaper than this and all i can say is that i paid the wrong price or i feel cheated by the picture.

close to trains and buses walking distance to shopping centers and nightlife staff not very friendly, had housekeeping knocking at the door to make up my room at 7.30 am not good this hotel was clean, room was small and poky but location was great every thing was nearby great Kopi place for breakfast across the road made the best breakfast for about $2 aus food was really good custard steam buns and toast singapore style very very nice and very very cheap good hotel for value for money in singapore as everthing is pricey
Restaurant Tip : food is very cheap so eat where the locals do and enjoy

Price, in-room facilities, surcharges I was really somewhat disappointed by the hype surrounding the Rendezvous Hotel. Yes, the location is great, the MRT just round the corner, you can head down to Orchard Road to Suntec City to Chinatown, really anywhere worth visiting easily but for the price I was paying I expected a bit more, well, service. The bathroom was small, the television only had a limited number of decent channels. Plus with only a service remote control, I could only skip up the channel list or down, meaning that if I wanted to switch from Channel 1 to Channel 11, I had to go through 2-10 - ridiculous! Then the in-room safe didn't work...Suffice it say, I won't be staying here again, there are much better options in S'pore

Excellent location and quality of the rooms, swimming pool. Expensive and the cafe is very expensive Lovely Hotel, perfectly located just off of Orchard Rd. The rooms were very well appointed and very pleasant. Loved the pool and the pubs and restaurants around teh Hotel could not have been better. Short walk to Raffles Hotel, which is quite spectacular and worth the $23.00 for a Gin Sling. Restaurants in the Hotel werer very expensive, but the choice of food and quality of food was probably worth it. I would stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Have a Gin Sling at Raffles on the Terrace. Really captures Singapore !

Great location at end of Orchard Road.Its a large but friendly hotel aith excellent staff to advise on attractions.Very close to MRT system but is also close enough to walk to other areas - Waterforny & India quarter.Pool was nice to relax at end of the day.Didnt try the restaurants but it was always busy and looked very nice but lots of other food outlets and restaurants close by.There is a bar on ground floor which is frequented by mainly expats - a little pricey and no guiness but ok for a quick drink.Standars of room was great with a great view over the city skyline.Overall a nice stay and would recommend to anyone for a short city break

room was clean and the people were very nice.Great location for what i required Bed was very high and very firm.Television was difficult to turn on I went to do a two day course at university location was ideal but was also very accesible for public transport.Shopping was also close by with various centres and products available.Room was always clean there was very little external noise could be heard. Pleasant stay overall

As the hotel is non-smoking only since this year, in some rooms still there is unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke
Rendezvous hotel is situated in the heart of central part of the city. Orchard Road, Little India and other places of interest including shopping centers, chinese bazaar are within walking distance. By the way, in my opinion, in Mustafa Center is the best exchange rate. Also, near the hotel - across the street there is a fast-food cafe with local cuisine. Dishes there are delicious, huge and at the same time inexpensive. For example, if you take rice with vegetables, one dish is for 2 persons.
In the hotel there is a large range of facilities such as gym, swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi which helped me feel revitalized and reinvigorated.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Such sightseeings as Little India with its aroma from flowers and incense, Arab street (somewhere in the back street I found very beautiful park), Orchard road - mecca for shoppers, Chinese bazaar are very close to the Rendezvous hotel.
