Very Spacious, convenient, but weak shower water.

The room is very spacious, plenty of spaces despite already having a big king size bed. There is a small balcony with sliding doors, the sliding door lock is faulty but well, no one can climb up anyway.
The TV channels are good, tv itself is good, but while watching, it is kinda lag.
The bathroom is of reasonable size, water from the shower was weak, no bathtub.
Coffee machine is great, complimentary Nespresso coffee and TWG tea, etc.
Quiet environment, easy access to near by restaurants and theme parks. There wasn't much views from the room balcony, stayed level 8.

Nice hotel very comfortable

Most people on short breaks with families require basic ameniities these days, including internet connection during the week days. The hotel charges are very expensive for this at SGD36 for 24 hours. Breakfast was not included, fair enough, but at SGD40 ++ per person this would mean SGD120++ for our family just for a bowl of cereal, which is all our kids would eat. To try and eat breakfast outside is difficult because everyone has the same idea and everywhere is packed. So basically the resot is set up foor entertaining families, but they capitalise by noot providing things at a reasonable cost and, because you have to have them you have no choice but to pay. Makes you feel like they are taking advantage. Not the breakfast restaurant at our hotel was always empty, yet the hotel was full. Try reducing the price of breakfast and you wont waste so much food.

Dont just stay in the resort, see the rest of Sentosa also

Resort World, just like another world in S'pore
Conveniently located amenities and food all around the hotel.

The hotel is nice and new and really lives up to its name as being an integrated resort as everthing is conveniently located around the hotel, from attractions, to world class reataurants, to beaches and shops.
I would recommend this to any Singaporean looking for a short getaway without having to travel far.
Please don't forget to make full use of the hotel facilities like gym and swimming pool and do check out the beaches, Sentosa is afterall surrounded by the sea.

Great Hotel at a reasonable price very close to Universal Studios and all of the other restaurants and attractions in the area. Took a little long to check in, however staff were very helpful and provided lots of information.
Restaurant Tip:
Try the Malaysian food court nearby for great cheap food, but try to go outside normal lunch and dinner hours as it is very busy with long waiting and hard to find seats.

Poor service and lack of amenities

Poor service by very tardy and unattentive staff. Our room was supposedly for three because I paid for extra bed. Yet I didn't get three towels and complimentary water bottles. This was despite the presence of an additional bed which they had to make for more second night of stay.
When I asked for additional towels, they asked me to call their housekeeping hotline. That shows how much trust the hotel has over their staff. It was really frustrating.
On the afternoon of check in, we were just 10 minutes away from check in time at 3pm. We were made to wait for another 15 'minutes past 3pm before we got our keys. The reason was that their housekeeping was not ready.
Room was smaller than the reviews I have read.

My husband and I were very surprised as we were given a complimentary upgrade to a suite room instead. Upon entering our room, we were delighted by the interior decor and comfy bed. I was mostly excited about the bathroom with an elegant bathtub, separate showers. Our room had a nice view of the festive walk. The minus point is the swimming pool was very small unlike at Festive and Hard Rock Hotel. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and the staffs were very friendly.

No luxury fitting but the deluxe king room is huge
Good size room ( deluxe king ) with practical kitchen sink and dining table. Ideal for families with young children .

1.The queue to check in is long . Not efficient front desk . Only few active counters . The rest of the front desk seem to be doing nothing to help clear the long check in queue.
2.Our room ( deluxe king ) is very spacious. However , the fittings are not luxurious . The TV remote in the bathroom Not working . The kitchen sink with long table Top is very practical and family friendly . The dining table for four is useful and strategically placed at corner of the room so there is good space in the middle of room for little kids to roam .
3. No exceptional service but acceptable . The conceirge is proactive and professional in advising of information on places of interest and other relevant tourist informations . Speaks English and Mandarin well enough and very friendly .
4. The location of the hotel is excellent . It's within walking distance to the universal studio and other highlights of The resort world . Ramps are available for strollers and wheelchairs .
5. Don't bother with room service as its not exceptional , surprising basic . We ordered porridge and nasi lemak one morning for breakfast . Bland and slightly diluted porridge with slightly soggy " you tiao ". Nasi lemak with non frangant coconut rice , tough looking sunny side up and acceptable chicken wing .
6. 7 eleven within walking distance ( less than 5 mins ) of hotel so no problem if need last min " emergencies " like diapers and baby snacks .
