Excellent location by river side and close to nightlife. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Bathroom is small, so is at most other hotel in Singapore. Location is close to train and other public transport facility. Highly recommended, for young people wanting to enjoy nightlife along with visiting other tourist site in Singapore.

excellent choice for a great location and affordable price. the staff is friendly, the breakfast is not so bad, and the wifi charges is just reasonable.
not for people looking for 5 star treatment yet want to pay a 3 star price. this hotel is adequate for the price you pay for. its right in the city, next to clarke quay, walking distance to a lot of touristic areas and eating places.

Well located value deal hotel

so far, the strategic location for this price is a good deal. Bath towels are smelly and will advise hotel to change to new sets as they are old as well.

Budget Hotel but great location.
Location on Robertson Quay & Clark Quay.

Most disappointed on arrival (at 4am) to find that only a single & very tiny room available for the 2 of us!!My husband & I had to sleep in a small single bed. The next night we were moved to a double room with a view of the pool & river,which at least had a double bed.No compensation offered except for a free taxi transfer to the cruise ship terminal on the day of departure.The bathrooms in this hotel are very small compared to many other hotels & even the cruise ship .. The breakfast in the dimly lit "dining room" had a very poor selection with barely warm, hot food.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Visit the Universal Studios on Santosa Island for a brilliant day.Buy your ticket online before you go..$60 online versus $74 at the gate.

Not great but good location and cheap

It's half the price of any other hotel in the area, and when you check in it's pretty obvious why - old hotel, not been renovated, small rooms, tiny bathroom.
But the room was clean, the location (2 mins walk from clarke quay) is very convenient, and the price was pretty good for singapore.
Overall, happy with my stay and would recommend to travellers

The stay is pleasant. Except that there is much to improve on their fixtures. Most of the stuff are pretty old. Toilet's sliding door about to de-rail any time and rusty too.

Old, Small Hotel with Great Location

I was surprised how small the room was so I was quite disappointed. The hotel has seen better days. The front desk service was okay, the process of checking in and out was quite past. Frankly, I thought that I didn't get what I paid for.
Breakfast was so so. You don't have a lot of choices. The pool was small but I liked the lounging area around it. I saw that they had a gym but I don't think anybody's using it as most of the equipments are non functional (maybe because it's exposed to the rain).
I would recommend it for budget travelers. However, I would not come back again.
