i love staying at royal scotts hotel. the hotel is very close to everything, you name it...2 mins walk to orchard road, the ion mall, takashimaya, where you can find mostly everything from shopping, food and beverages to movies at cineplex. love the christmss decoration in singapore.
the staff of the hotel is very polite and helpful as well. they even carry your baggage on departure. the only downside of the hotel is the view. all i can is the wall of another building. if u are looking for view, this hotel offers none. however, i love staying at this hotel and will definitely come back.
Restaurant Tip:
You should visit the takasimaya foodcourt, loving the food there from satay to noddle and chicken rice...If you prefer fancy restaurant and a bit expensive food, go to Paragon, where all the nice restaurants are. I would suggest din tai fung, very nice noodle lamian and siau long pau...
you should also try kudeta at marinabay, they offer very spectacular view.

Royal Plaza On Scotts is in a great location just off of Orchard road, close to the shopping malls, and restaurants in that part of town. The upgraded room was spacious and comfortable. The free wifi and mini bar were nice added touches. The staff were friendly especially the concierge who having run out of umbrellas managed to locate a brand new one in the management office.
This is a busy hotel. 511 rooms, weddings, and people everywhere but for the price, it was well worth it. I would stay again.

arrival from airport to hotel we need to wait for 15 mins to check in. the room is neat and clean. we like the espresso coffee machine in my room and also like this hotel because of the location we wanted to go is near. for shopping malls are great. easy to get a taxi there. while we check out is very fast. we love to stay in this hotel again.

i would recommend this hotel for those wishing to stay along orchard road. it is near ion mall and the other malls at orchard via the underground pass. taxis also know where the hotel is, thus travelling to and from the hotel is easy.

i have stayed at the royal plaza on scotts hotel before and have found the staff really helpful the rooms big and comfortable the linen spotless and the location to orchard road really helpful when you are tired and want to shop.
Restaurant Tip:
Across the road there is a little restaurant called Hans in the shopping centre and the food althought not fancy is cheap and really filling.

Great Location but poor access

If I am flying maybe this hotel is ok. But since I am driving the access to the lobby is a painful experia as I have to carry the buggy up and down the stairs with no lift access.
The room is underated... massive disappointment

This hotel is perfect for shopping and the food is halal for muslim traveller. also a major plus for non smoker!

Great hotel with great service. The hotel is situated in the central of orchard road and convenience for shopping and eateries. The hotel is great with mini bar and the breakfast is good.I will definitely recommend for my friend and come back for next stay.
