Old hotel but quite grandly refurbished

Pleasant. Although room is old but clean and comfortable. Hotel is next/attached to duty free. Same location but opposite hotel will costs few hundred ringgit more expensive. Only 1 thing I am not happy is when I asked for my credit card deposit slip for cancellation,1 of the staff not happy as if I am a very sceptical person. Overall I am quite happy to stay there.

Stay at the hotel was quite enjoyable. Area outside of hotel was in the process of renovations thought, so it was a little noisy at hotel lobby area. However, my stay in the room was not affected. Staff were attentive and polite. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.

Royal on Scotts is located on Orchard road. It is within walking distance to major shopping area such as ION, Tangs and etc. MRT is just within walking distance from the hotel. Overall the condition of the hotel was superb. Room is clean and size of the room is just exactly right.
