Location. Newly refurbished. Traffic can be heavy around the hotel. Stayed at the RP several times. The service is always good, the location is great for Orchard Road. The rooms are slightly small but newly refurbished.

Good Price Little bit of construction going on but will only make the hotel better. Only minimal noise during the day. All staff were very friendly and helpful. They were always happy to meet my requests.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and I will be staying here for all future visits.
Restaurant Tip : Food Republic at Wisma, great selection, great taste, quick and easy.

love this hotel, and even the breakfast carousel, one of best buffet breakfast in singapore, room is small not too big but what you can expect from singapore, the minibar complimentary is not bad, but we expect something like food inside.

Very central and 5 mins walk to Orchard MRT.
Good hotel and normally very well priced. About 1/2 the price of a 5 star but almost as good. Not much, was good all round. Royal Plaza has a great location for shopping and generally geting around. We stayed for 4 nights and will return.
There are a lot of good hotels in Sing and this is a good one at a very good price. Well worth it if your shopping.
Restaurant Tip : Save money on breakfast and have a croissant and a coffee at Stabucks outside the front door of the hotel for less than 1/2 the price. You also get to see the world going by.

Free internet in room. Parts of the hotel are under construction now, so it was a bit loud at times. This hotel is just steps from Orchard Road, and in particular, the newest shopping mall in Singapore, Ion Orchard. Anything you need can be found in a ten-minute walk. So many restaurants and coffee shops surround this hotel that you won't know what to eat first! The hotel is the only 100% Halal hotel in Singapore, so no pork is served at all (they do serve alcohol, though!). Another bonus is that the internet is free in the room.
Restaurant Tip : The basement at Ion Orchard has every kind of food you can imagine! Cheap, too!

Excellent location, free internet, and nice rooms. No breakfast included in our package :) We really enjoy staying in this hotel. The children love the rooms (we took two connecting rooms), everything is so functional. The new ION shopping mall is just a few minutes walking distance. There are lots of things to do once you get out of the hotel. MRT is nearby, plenty of shopping malls around, and I like the free high speed internet and free mini bar in the room. I'll definitely come and stay again.

My impression from the day we arrived until the day we departed was the quality, friendliness and professionalism of the staff from the bellboy, business center staff, front desk and catering personnel. All where extremely and genuinely pleasant and professional. Parts of the hotel was under renovation while still operating. I congratulate the way the hotel management controlled this environment with the minimum distruption to the guest.

Good value for money hotel in the middle of Singapore. Located on scotts road , just a few steps from the famous Orchard road with all its shops and restaurants. Subway is on walking distance and will bring you to any place in Singapore. Hotel is good and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpfull. Restaurant and bar are also OK. will definately go back to this hotel the next time I will visit Singapore.

Nothing is to much trouble for them This Hotel is currently being Upgraded and as such there was a little noise during the day, Nothing that to much and work stopped at 6pm..
Hotel itself is very central and fully NON Smoking .

Buffet Breakfast was excellent , but didnt have baked beans :-(
Hotel Room was Clean and not cramped .
The Beauty of this hotel is the closeness to Far East Plaza , Lucky Plaza and all the other shopping centres in Orchard Road .

The hotel has free mini bar and free internet access. Construction and noise during the day. Great Hotel! The staff were so nice the whole time, very friendly. The hotel has free mini bar and free internet access.
The reception/lobby area is stunning, big spiral marble staircases with a beautiful big candle display. Not much of a view from the room, its all building tops. But its in a great, convenient loaction, close to orchard shopping areas.

Good location, proximity to Orchard road, MRT station, free internet connecetion, friendly staff Certainly not 5 star. Bathroom not clean, slow internet connection The hotel is well situated in the prime shopping area and has good access to MRTs and public transportation. That however is true for most locations in downtown Singapore. I booked a special offer, so the price was acceptable. There was extensive refurbishing going on during my stay and it was very noisy during daytime. I guess this was the reason for the special deal, so no reason to complain. The hotel is 100% smoke free and the first thing is to sign is that you will get a 300 $ on the spot fine if you smoke in the room.
