Royal Palace is lovely hotel with big rooms, good location for shopping, helpfull doorman,good services. easy to get a taxi.Easy to find good restaurant near hotel. Free wifi and mini bar are good.But the hotel lobby is not good. Not enought sofa or chair to sit.
Overall the hotel is ok.

I enjoyed to stay in this hotel. the staffs are very friendly. especially the porter. I knew this hotel since I was a kid. the porter and the staffs are still very friendly, not a bit changed at all.
Shopping Tip:
Boring with ION, Paragon and any other places to shopping? I recommend you this hotel. There is a big DFS store exactly besides this hotel. LV, Prada, and other brands are there!

we will definitely stay at royal plaza if we are in singapore again.
the staff are very helpful and friendly. the rooms are clean and a good size (this is even with two young kids)!!
the buffet breakfast is fantastic and so convenient- great way to start the day.
hoerl is close to major shops and the mrt.
overall we were very impressed and happy with the royal plaza.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days during my recent business trip to Singapore & found it quite convenient as it is very close to Orchard MRT & Orchard Road. Rooms were decent size (especially for Singapore) & service was excellent. I will use them for my future trips.

I stayed here because I needed somewhere cheaper than my normal hotel and was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It has all the amenities of a larger chain hotel but at a lower price. Nice rooms, nice gym and pool, good breakfast, very comfortable and free (if not great) internet.
A downside was the downstairs restaurant was closed on one night and the only place to eat was the lounge-bar, which had an incredibly loud singer in it that was just awful but the staff did try to help find somewhere as quiet as possible.
Hotel Feature Tip:
for peace and quiet, avoid the bar!
