My stay is fair but it could be better
Location, shopping, large bathrooms
5.7
The hotel is ok because of the location, near shopping and MRT , but we got discouraged because of some of the staffs at the counter..Not friendly and approachable at all. The breakfast is passable though, not much choices but still ok, the staff from the dining area are better ,they smile more and are helpful. The room we were booked is the family room for 3 days, it was larger than Singapore standards.Overall my stay could be better.I booked this hotel because of the reviews I read but I was disappointed for the amount I paid.

a nice and comfortable place
This hotel is near the SMRT station, and has easy access to Chang-yi Airport. There are a lot of Manadrin speaking hotel staff, so those who cannot speak English will generally have no trouble here.
7.7
The neighborhood is hustle and bustle in the morning with shopping area, hospital, and business building around. However, it is dark in the evening with many suspicious wanderer around. So those who travel alone have to consider live in the hotel by themselves, because it is definitely scary to walk from the SMRT station to the hotel alone at night.

Good Hotel in a Superb location
Proximity to shopping areas, transportation, and swimming pool
7.3
Overall stay was ok. However during the last day I was asking if i could extend due to a delayed flight but this was not accomodated. Although they stored my baggage as I roamed around the city which was good. Our tv remote broke and when I reported it to the front desk, he said that he'd send somebody. Nobody came until checkout.
These are minor setbacks. If you want a reasonably priced, clean room with cable, net, hotwater and breakfast near the MRT, yojt may consider SaNta grand bugis

Nice, clean family budget hotel
Helpful staff, clean room and bathroom, nice window view
6.7
It was our first time to Singapore and we were glad to find a reasonably priced, clean hotel quite accessible to buses, the MRT and cabs too were easy to find. We were two females travelling together but we found it was quite safe to walk back to the hotel from the MRT as the area is full of young people (perhaps students or office workers). The Arab street nearby is a facinating place to visit and we enjoyed an Islamic lunch (our first). Staff were helpful and gave us tips on how to get around the must-see sights. The hotel was full of families with children so we felt relaxed and at home. Breakfast buffet was nothing to write home about but good enough.
