It was absolutely fantastic to stay with this hotel, staffs are superb friendly. Very easy to get around the city of Singapore as Chinatown MRT station was so near. Equiped with Wifi, room is clean, is comfort, may not be the best in the town for room cleanliness. But it was ok for a few days stay.

Value for Money at Downtown Singapore

What I am about to share may be unpleasant to some. I am a regular traveller for past 10 years and had stayed in many hotels but this hotel brought some hair raising experience for me. This is a boutique hotel designed in accordance with the overall concept of the location. The hotel is designed in full red from ceiling to carpets, sofas to walls. It can be quite scary and intimidating for some especially families with babies and kids. What makes it more spooky is the building of the hotel was once a Chinese Opera house since pre-war japanese occupation. According to the bell-boy who assisted with my luggage to during check-in, there were incidents of babies crying the whole night to eerie feelings by young female guests.
