Nice Decor but tiny rooms

we liked the lobby/ground floor decor and corridor colours with hanging chinese lanterns. it looks true to its former existance as the chinese opera house however the rooms a very small.
the breakfast room is also very small and we could not find any place to sit as lots of places left unclean with dirty plates everywhere. it felt claustrophobic. we waited in line to get milk for our coffee but as many guests were drinking glasses of milk after 3 refills and still no milk for our coffee we gave up and went down the street to mcdonalds.

Staff were exceptionally helpful and the hotel was very good value by Singaporean standards with wifi and breakfast included. Very central location in the buzzing china town district. Strongly recommend

Hotel location was convenient & staff was cooperative.
But hotel rooms & bathroom are very small & uncomfortable.
Very bad smell was coming from our bathroom. We had to request 2 times to get our room changed.
We had to shift in more conjusted room but atleast it didnt have bad smell.
Hotel should add some more pics of rooms and mention room & bathroom area to make it more clear to customers.

Even if the room size are small, but more than enough if you want to saving money or traveling as backpacker. Amenities were basic but fine for the price in Singapore.

Lovely hotel but a bit noisy

The hotel is very lovely decorated, very typical and is located right in the middle of Chinatown. Therefore the rooms are a bit noisy because of that, but if you want to enjoy typical Singapore, it's perfect!
Breakfast included but not a feast, only a few things to eat...
Rooms are nice even though pretty simple. The bed was a little bit too hard and there weren't enough towels (would need more than 1 towel per person, but I had a nice stay there.

Tiny rooms but adequate for a quick stopover. Breakfast is basic but good enough. Bed is a little hard and the 2nd night that we stayed they had changed the bed sheets and our new sheets made us itchy all night.

the hotel very near mrt chinatown. you can walk only 3-5minutes.

the location is great very near chinatown mrt. in front of the hotel have many street food along the smith street.
Restaurant Tip:
You must try restaurant name Tak Po for frog legs spicy pot.

If you are looking for a great location with decent price, this hotel is a good choice. It locates right in the heart of China Town, and only 15 mins MRT to Marina Bay Sand, and Orchard Area.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Should visit the Budha Teeth Temple next 2 street. walk in distance around 15 mins.
