Nice lobby but single room is too small
5.7
the hotel is in chinatown and only 3 mins walk to mrt. could be good for westerners who would want to explore the chinatown. nice lobby with distinctive chinese flavor.
the downside is that the room is too small and air ventilation is not that good.

great location, very small room
close to subway and in the middle of chinatown

I was a little expensive for a taxi ride to and from the airport.
getting to orchard road was very easy, only a quick subway ride away.
rooms were very very small. clean, but small. no windows either.
i stayed for one night, and it was ok. but if i was to stay any longer, i wouldn't have chosen this hotel.

A convenient and cheap inn
6.7
It is located in the China Town of Singapore. The location is very convenient, though the room space is little. But still ok for that money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
In the China town. Many souvenirs for buying.

The hotel is situated at the heart of chinatown, close to MRT and everything.
Hotel room is neat and clean but really small, without any window making that a bigger problem.
Not an atmosphere that I wanted to stay long inside the room.
Otherwise, I am satisfied with this hotel.

Great location but small room
Location of the hotel is great
5.7
I was impress by the set up of the hotel but I am not so please with the stay on the following few factors; 1. The room gave a feel of me staying in a handicap toilet for 2 nights, 2. Why would the TV be place at such a angle where you can't even laydown to watch it, 3. I was also taken by suprise that there isn't any form of cabinet for my clothings and bags, 4. Wifi service is not useable, I manage to log in but it just hang after logging in. Lastly, I would really suggest that either your management do somethimg to the room or just stop giving out the room for customers, it is really sill that the toilet is so much bigger than the resting area.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Make sure you check the size and view of the room before deciding.

Convenient location with considerably small room
8.7
Overall, it was a pleasant stay, though the rooms were were booked in, did not have any windows, and the bathroom-cum-toilet was quite compact.
Nightlife Tip:
This place is right smacked in busy Chinatown, where at night, there are stalls, selling from tourist souvenirs, to food.

great location but noisy rooms
location, location, location and cleanness

I arrived couple of hours early to the hotel early and the room was not ready, which was not a big problem as there are lots of nice coffeeshops and other shops to explore. While I enjoyed my stay, the rooms were very small (you can barely fit two suitcases in the room) and noisy no matter which side of the hotel you are (I tried two different rooms). Nevertheless, I enjoyed for my stay and would book this hotel again if travelling to Singapore on budget.
