Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Good service but small room without window
Reception area nice decor and lovely vaulted ceiling
6.7
Our stay at this hotel was pleasant but only suitable for an overnight stay as the room was too small for three people with 3 large suitcases and 3 smaller suitcases. The other problem was the lack of natural light due to the absence of a window. The room was quite quirky and interesting and the staff at reception were pleasant, especially the concierge who looked after our luggage during the day after we had checked out whilst sightseeing. The actual building was really interesting with lovely red plush carpet which was clean and well looked after with different levels and and staircases as it used to be a Chinese opera house prior to being converted to a hotel. Breakfast in the downstairs cafe was adequate and included in the price of the room.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Located right in the heart of Chinatown and walking distance to attractions, train station and buses available close by.

Clean rooms with easy convenience

Great stay, but very noisy at night with karaoke singing till wee hours of the night. Easy walking distance to MRT station and surrounded by food.

Very convenient location within walking distance to subway and eateries

Very convenient location within walking distance to subway and eateries. Located in the heart of Chinatown. But can be very noisy if the window is facing the trip
Travel tip:
For more peaceful sleep, select rooms with no windows

Thought this hotel was value for money. Very nice room and very clean. Modern bathroom but shower not very powerful. The room was small but very nice feel to it. Breakfast was good. Very good location and very close to underground. Would stay here again.

Ok location but you're better off elsewhere
4.7
i was left quite unsatisfied with my stay in this hotel for the following reasons:
1. the rooms were extremely small. there's barely any space to move around with just 1 person and a bag
2. the room was facing a hawker center so there was noise all the time! you could hear people talking and motorcycles passing by. it was very hard to get some sleep.
3. i arrived a little after midnight and the hotel staff didn't even bother to help me up the stairs considering that my bags were heavy and the floor was carpeted.

Good location but rooms too small
next to street food and just few minutes to mrt station
6.7
it was 3 nights stay at this hotel but actually we need bigger rooms. the rooms we occupied were really too small. but we love the location which is in the middle of chinatown market
Shopping Tip:
the price in the chinatown market close to this hotel is quite cheap and it is fix price
