great location with small clean room
the room always clean & location near to mrt

the room always clean although the room very small, staff is very nice to talk, great location near to mrt, easy to find great chinese food. there's wifi for internet in the rooms, so help us to googling some place for 4 days stay in singapore.

A hotel with a Unique theme

The theme was unique, which brought us an ancient china feel. Room was small though, but nevertheless it was clean and comfy enough for 2. Right at chinatown, was easy to get around and its near to the train station.

Nicely decorated hotel but a tad noisy at night

Its a nicely refurbished shoplot hotel but most rooms are facing the street
Our room was facing the hawker stalls and the noise just goes on until 2-3am on weekends so it was terrible when it comes to sleeping
For that price, I would reckon there are far better options elsewhere
Not recommended unless u r the party type who only comes back in wee hrs of morning!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Not sure if there are rooms away from street worthwhile to ask
In any case the room is barely soundproof

Comfortable & convenient

The location is good. The staff are nice and helpful. The room is comfortable but not vey clean since I saw cockroach in my room, terrible!!!
Also, the room is very very small and the price is quite high.

Rooms like a cupboard but good location

The room I stayed in had no window and was really really small. Maybe about 15 metres square inclufing the "bathroom". However if you are just looking for a place to stay for a night and nit spend much time in the room, then it suits that purpose fine. Staff very friendly and accommodation.
Restaurant Tip:
The back door of the hotel opens to a food stall street. Food is really great there.

Convenient location but room space can be an issue

We booked a room in this hotel to be close with other family members despite reviews that the rooms were quite small. I thought I'd spend more by booking a larger room as I was with my 2 young children. The room we got was still unbelievably cramped and old with no windows. The hard sofa bed was almost on the floor and there was a slight smell in the bathroom which shares the toilet. The redeeming side was the helpfulness of the staff but I don't think it was value for money. I would have moved my family if it had not for the fact that I had prepaid already.

Great location but small rooms
Well located in Chinatown and attentive staff

We booked a room for a couple of nights stay. We chose this hotel as it was conveniently located within walking distance of train station and the night market. The staff were also very helpful. The only issue was the room was very small with no windows.

Great Location, , tiny rooms.
Close to MRT, walking distance to most locations, decent quality furnishings

Rooms are tiny. The closet I was put in, had a queen size bed, cupboard, en-suite, and sofa. It gave me around 1m squared to walk around in.
If you suffer from claustrophobia request a room with a window.
Internet was free, but very slow most of the time. Due to it being free, I believe it was over utilised by other residence.
