this is a typical high standard shngri-la hotel. the location is superb, where you feel like you're in eafy suberbia but then you're only 5 mins walk from the very heart of the shopping district (Orchard Road). would certainly come back.

We expected a high quality hotel with excellent service and that is precisely what we got.
Not cheap but well worth the price for the room and extras that came with it - especially the Singapore Slings!
