Great Hotel

This was my first time staying at the Shangri-La and I must say I am impressed. Everything from atmosphere, decor to service was great. The staff were friendly and accommodating to whatever your needs are. The only thing I didn't like was the bed. The bed I slept in had to be the hardest bed I have ever slept in at a hotel. I actually had to use the extra pillows to make the bed softer. Other than that, I loved my stay at the hotel.

Our stay at the Shangri-la Hotel was great. The pool was great! Too bad it rained for most of our stay. The room was also great. Overall a very nice hotel.

i'm loving the renovations!
the rooms were nicely designed, lots of wood for a nice warm coziness.
breakfast was plentiful, however, the food wasn't as good as it looked. i stayed 3 nights but only had breakfast once.
service was great! check-in and out was smooth. my girlfriend forgot her cellphone in the lobby and they promptly returned it to her within 5 minutes.
the location was super, close to ION orchard mall and many other places.
i stayed with my family and we all had a great time here. i would definitely stay here again.

great place in Singapore!

there's nothing to complain about this marvelous hotel. it's located right by anything you'd need when it comes to shopping and dining.
the food could be A LOT better though, i saw the chef walking around at breakfast, but i think he should focus more on the food in the kitchen coming out.
but overall, a lovely stay, i would definitely come back next time i'm in Singapore.

very nice hotel, small rooms
good pool and spa. Bathrooms were nice

we enjoyed the stay, the staff was very efficient. We spent quite a bit of time at the pool and gym. Everything was very clean and well maintained. I would recommend staying here for those who are looking for some relaxing time amidst the busy city life. The doormen were very attentive to helping us get the proper cab for our needs.

The Horizon Club is a wonderful way to spend the mornings and afternoon in Singapore. The breakfasts are a mix of western and Asian and the service is impeccable. after a day of touring and walking, to return to the Horizen Club and relax with drinks and snacks is a wonderful way to end the day and prepare for diner and the Sinagapore flyer
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you have been to the Singapore Flyer before note that there is significant renovation and thee ticketbooth is on the ground floor.

there is a free shuttle to orchard road every hour.

The Shangri-la is a tranquil Sanctuary in bustling Singapore and one that came highly recommended. The initial impact on arrival is breathtaking, though the rooms could do with a little attention. Friendly courteous staff, beautiful pool and gardens and fantastic food make for a memorable stay. Shangri-la Singapore
a haven from the city buzz.
Shopping Tip:
Unless you get a taxi be prepared for a wait for shuttle bus to nearest shopping/MRT.
