good hotel for a short holiday
Nice pool which is right next to the beach
10
excellent stay with very helpful staff.
the duty manager upgraded us to a very nice room with sea view and gave a complimentary bday cake when we mentioned that it was my bday in that month.
staff at casserole was warm, friendly and very attentive. food was good too so we ate dinner there 2 days in a row.
seems to be a popular place for family with children too.

very good family hotel
the cafe and restaurants were great, excellent breakfast buffet, attentive service
7.7
We had a 2 day stop over and will definitely go back for a longer break someday. The hotel is well set up for families, good facilities, the kids loved the pools and the slides. Sentosa is well serviced with free buses, Universal Studios is a good day out for young kids (if you can afford it). The
'family suite' is a bit small, our 2 boys had to share a bed which works at their young age, but be careful if booking it for older children as it is probably not big enough for older kids.

nice hotel with an excellent location
9.3
This is the second time we stayed at Rasa Sentosa. We got a Deluxe Sea View this time. It costs a bit more than the rooms on the other side of the hotel, but it is definetely worth it. It felt so great to wake up in the morning with an ocean view. Having a few glasses of wine on the bacolny at night was beautiful.
The location of the hotel is second to none - you have the beach right at your doorstep. We had a stroll along the beach in the afternoon after we checked in, had a few drinks and lunch in different places along the way. It was so much fun!
The only disappointment would be the breakfast. It was much better last time when we stayed there. They had really limited selection of food at the breakfast this time. Although the plaec is huge, but every 'station' all had the same food - Bacon, sausages and eggs...
I will still definitely stay there again though! It was a great holiday.

we had a great stay at the hotel. many restaurants to choose from, fantastic buffet breakfast. very clean. great pool for the whole family. difficult to get deck chairs as most people claimed them with towels in the morning. should be able to do this, if your using them, use them, if not, let someone else use. that would be our only con.

Great location but small rooms

Its just ok. Not great. The room was small. The food was unsatisfactory. Would have expected better from a Shangri-la hotel. Would be even better if they had halal food.

Nice hotel but not value for money
the underwater world is just outside the hotel
5.7
Hotel is nice, room is just normal. Not value for money as a five star hotel. Very expensive. Bathroom smelled smoke, don't know why, was thinking is due to the floor mat never change. When we arrived, I was trying to check in and didn't noticed that the queing row was at the centre which I didn't notice because of the design of the lobby, my view was blocked by the huge pillars. The receptionist one of them saw me and never alert me about this too, so waited a while. There are 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 kids, booked this hotel mainly because it has a nice playground but we found that its chargeable very expensive and kid below 5 not allowed, whom one of my child is 4 years old. There are free shuttle but time until 10pm only not convenient. Even drive also the parking is very far. It's also quite quiet out there at night.

i really enjoyed staying at the hotel shangri la in singapore. it was exceptional experience in cold winter escapers, we all have really tanned body in winter! hotel location is the best for family travelers, and outdoor pool was beautiful. at the hotel there has kindergarden for kids for the house guests if parents want to go to downtown, it was very thoughtful!!! they can have many activities for kids and they will serve the kids with lunch and play in the pool while you have enjoying singapore's wide selective shopping spree. you won't ever regret staying at this hotel for any reason.
