Weekend staycation
Eco-friendly environment, beautiful pool & opposite siloso beach

No major issue. Check in took a long time. Poor impression toward the front desk staff who did our check in. However, the friendliness and efficiency of the night front desk staff and the staff who did our check out kinda make up for that. Breakfast provided by hotel was a great disappointment. Not what I'd expected from a hotel in Sentosa. Not to mention it cost more than S$150 per night. Great concept behind hotel but its a shame to see the garden full of weeds and plants full of browned leaves. Seems to me the plants in the hotel are not properly tend to. Best thing of the stay is the pool with waterfall and the fact that the pool is chlorine-free.

Short visit, but a comfortable stay

My 8yo son and I only stayed for 4 nights, but we accomplished quite a bit in those few days. The superior room we booked was basic but covered all of our needs. The wifi unfortunately was one of the few let downs - this was only accessible from the cafe downstairs. Not a huge deal, but made it difficult to skype family back home as they have music going during meal times. The pool was a real winner for kids with a massive waterfall and two small slides. But not toddler or baby friendly unless you're going to keep a very close eye on the kids.
The resort is super close to Universal Studios - with a free light rail service on the island it's only a short walk and train ride away. Vivo City shopping centre is also very close with a wide range of food to choose from.
Highly recommended if you're after basic accommodation close to Universal Studios in particular.

SBR never fail to amazed us!

This is our second stay at SBR. We love the room with the roof top jacuzzi. We were amazed that the tub looks like a normal tub before you filp the switch in Room 827. We had a refeshing time under the waterfall at the swimming pool without chlorine. There is even a water slide for kids to slide down.
We went for an eco tour within the hotel and discovered what the hotel has be doing to be green. I like the idea to reduce, reuse and recycle. SBR is located at siloso beach on Sentosa where you can find iFly, MegaZip, wavehouse and universal studios singapore. Nightlife on Siloso beach is also quite happening.
