Bad Service..huge dissapointment
The room design..thats the only thing i can think so
4.3
It has utterly a very disappointing anniversary stay for us.We were ask to wait for 45mins for the room thus we headed to the cafe nearby its lobby for coffee. We were not inform that there was complimentary coffee for the hotel guests whom were waiting for their rooms. It was actually the service crew from the cafe who bother to tell us of this complimentary service. Well, that's the disappointing factor.
After waiting for 1hr 15 mins,i had to go over to the counter from the cafe and ask on the status for my room. Guess what, I was told that the room was not ready and i had to wait for another 1 hour for my room. :(
After waiting for additional 1hr, i went to the counter and demanded for an update on the status for my room and to my surprise, another hotel staff actually gave my room that i had been waiting for the past 2 hr 15mins to another couple whom had just CHECK IN and he keep insisting that the system did not show any status of reservation of that room from any of his colleagues thus he has assign it to another guest.
I am not going to wait for another 1 hr for my room to be ready and demanded for the room back. Luckily, they gave it back to us.
This is not my first stay at studio m but this is definitely a very disappointing stay esp for our first wedding anniversary.
Restaurant Tip:
If you like Japanese BBQ, do visit Gyu Kaku.. value for money and the food were well marinated.

Great Hotel But Small Room
Unique dual deck design with large window panels.
6.3
Staffs were friendly by providing a room upgrade as they were unable to extend checkout time. The food (Morning Breakfast) were tasty. Facilities were adequate (Gym, Swimming Pools, WIFI, iMac Kiosks, Security Safe).
However, the room is quite small even for Premier Loft but it was cozy. Small bench in the washroom had a stain. Fridge is not working.
Nightlife Tip:
Location is near Clarke Quay, a happening place with lots of bars & pubs.

Unique loft rooms
Nice check in counter, very classy
6
The hotel had very few parking lots, not enough for the guests at all, had to park opposite at other hotels and claim parking charges upon check out. Very troublesome. The walls of the rooms seemed rather thin, could hear people walking and talking outside, could even hear the house keeper cleaning and banging on the cupboards/walls. The bed upstairs was very dusty, my partner and I kept sneezing non stop throughout the night.
Restaurant Tip:
Should try the Japanese BBQ restaurant called "gyu-kaku" nearby at UE square. Great food and ambience!

Cosy hotel but small bathroom
The cosy feeling of the room, the empty fridge that we can keep our drinks in
8
it was a cosy hotel room, mini bar fridge was left empty (i assumed it was for our own personal drinks which i personally liked this feature, unless you want the hotel staff to replenish which you could do so as well.)
swimming pool was closed the day i stayed, so no reviews on that.
bathroom : too small for my liking, but it still works out fine, as you won't be staying most of your time in there. good point is that the shower area and restroom are separated.
the sofa chair in the living room : a little dangerous, 2 girls (my friends) landed with a thud when they had their back against the wall, it kind of pushed / slided the entire sofa chair and landed with a thud.
hp reception/signal : very poor, probably you guys could improve on that.
overall, it worked out well for me, and i would like to re-visit this hotel again.

he room is of high quality and very clean except there should be another tv. Currently there's only one tv in front of the bed. Hence the study area has no tv so you either have to look up (premier) or look down (superior)
Nightlife Tip:
A very nearby place to hangout especially to Clark Quey.

Lovely hotel but very small bathroom
8.7
Nice and clean hotel, kind staffs !!!
Unfortunately the hotel a very limited size bathroom, just like staying in a bunker. Need more open space or glass wall.
The 2 storey room is quite different. It makes more spacious room. Kind staffs with smile will ease the bathroom size complain.
Nightlife Tip:
Very close to Clarke Quay, just about 5-10 minutes walking distance

This new hip hotel is a breathe of fresh air~
The hotel is near the bars and restaurants~
7.7
Love the location of the hotel as it is close to many cafes/bars/restaurants.
Singapore is a happening city and there's no better place to stay than here because the rooms are hip, affordable and clean!
The biggest drawback is the small toilet...eventhough I came prepared after reading about it from other people's feedbacks I still think it's too small.....

Good location but very small room and ameneties
close to many shops and restaurants

stay was brief for only one night. shower and toilet were extremely confined and small in size in a very compact 2 level studio room set up.
