Hotel with a unique concept
Loft concept, city river view.

Helpful and friendly concierge. Check in was quick. Easy to get to the hotel. Room was clean and well-kept when we first arrived. Did not provide much toiletries like toothbrush and toothpaste. Check out was quick also and help was provided in getting a cab out from there. Enjoyed my stay there thoroughly. Will return for more stays.

the hotel staff was friendly, the room was clean and cosy. although the toilet was a little too small, the room was really nice overall. breakfast was mediocre, but had a variety of food.I would definitely return and stay there given the chance. Got the hotel rooms at a pretty good deals too!

i booked on a pre valentine's day celebration. there was quite a q as we check in early at 2pm. expect more locals than tourists. booked premier loft and was upgrade to a executive loft. there was two television on the first level and on the loft, while we dont have to fight for channels.
good place for weekend getaway and we love it!

like the room layout and design. however the bathroom is very small. breakfats quality was bad, very basic, not fitting for the hotel standard. also very inflexible service, asked for bucket of ice and they charge if they bring it to the room. only for picking up yourself downstairs it is for free. small things which stick as not good service. additionally they were inflexible with early check-in on arrival, wanted to extra charge despite the fact the room was available.

Overall good experience with this hotel

i decided to book this hotel for 2 nights as a staycation and time away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. caught up on work and had a few friends over for drinks in the evening.
chose this hotel on agoda firstly because of the really competitive price (200+) and secondly because the concept of the hotel rooms piqued my interest. i booked the deluxe loft (from the description, it was the room with the bed on the first floor) w/o internet access & w/o breakfast and when i arrived at the lobby for check-in, i was given a room upgrade to the premier loft and given free internet access and complimentary breakfast. this was the start of a very beautiful stay with studio m.
when i first entered the door, i marvelled at the construction and design of the room. it might only be stated as 22sqm - which is small by hotel standards, the room design more than made up for its size. the room incorporated two storeys (thats the whole idea of a loft), a bed on the top floor and a retractable sofa bed at the first floor. so you could say that there were two beds in the room!
my only complaints were that the toilets were waaaaay too small - the shower and the toilet bowl were seperated into two miniscule rooms. secondly there was no toilet sink; only one common sink shared by the toilet and the kitchen. slightly unhygenic if you ask me.
the other complaint was that the cutlery i asked for wasn't delivered to my room. i couldn't be bothered and used my swiss army knife to eat instead.
all in all, if you can put up with the toilet size (which i could) and the lousy room service, i would say - give this hotel a shot!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
just below the hotel lies robertson quay - a place with many fabulous f&b haunts. mostly expats living in the studio apartments in the area.
walking distance to clarkequay - the drinking town of singapore. filled with countless bars and some dance clubs like zirca, rebel, indochine.
if clubbing is your thing, i suggest you head over to zouk club, the epitome of partying in singapore. zouk is the grand dame of nightlife in singapore - top 10 clubs in the world as voted by voters and published on djmag. so give it a shot, they have big name djs from all over the world coming in to play here every week. best nights would be fridays or saturdays.

only spend 1 night in the hotel. very good hotel for the price, especially the point interest of your stay is going to the quay...
but it's far from the nearest mrt station. i usually go to the airport using mrt, staying in this hotel, make me have to take taxi to come and go to the airport.
a bit far to orchard
if your plan is going to orchard, choose other hotel.
room is very small, and the bathroom is even smaller. you have to see it yourself, i never think i can take a shower in those small room again

Jumbo Seafood in Clark Quay, is very very good!!
