Nice loft style room but way too small

I really love the idea of a loft style room. However, the Studio Loft is not very well designed. The study is upstairs and the bed is downstairs right beside the stairs! Which makes the upper level pretty useless. One last thing to complain would be the super tiny toilet. Even smaller than public toilets. I would think the Premier Loft with the bed upstairs would be a better stay. The hotel is clean which is important.

Small but comfortable room, good value-for-money

Booked a room for a staycation with some friends. The room, though small, was cosy and comfortable, perfect for a night's stay. The mezzanine design was clever as it saves space without compromising on comfort. The only gripe we had was the separation of the shower from the toilet, with the washbasin located in the pantry. It took some getting use to but it all goes back to the hotel's space saving design.
The hotel's location may seem far from Clarke Quay station (about 15 - 20 minutes walk), but it's near several restaurants and pubs located in Robertson Quay. 10 minutes walk brings you to the main clubbing and drinking area of Clarke Quay.
Breakfast was alright, the buffet spread was standard international fare. There were a lot of guests having breakfast at same time with us, and staff were unable to cope with the big group of people. Food wasn't replenished fast enough and service was compromised. Kudos to the manager for remaining patient and serving customers to the best of his abilities though!
Overall, it was a good and comfortable stay!
