Great location but extra small suites and bathroom

When i read reviews on this hotel i thought the travellers where over exaggerating about the size of the room and bathroom facilities but after staying at Studio M i found the comments to be accurate. The toilet was in a cupboard literally with no leg or moving room at least in an airplane you can sit and still be able to stretch your legs out! The shower was in another cupboard and had no exhaust fan in it so the area smelt very musty. The basin to brush teeth etc was placed in the main seating area and was not closed off in any way so it was part of the room. Which was very impractical when there were 3 of us using the space. For a new hotel i found the design and layout to be very poor.
We tried to ask for a larger room but were told all rooms were the same size and layout.
This hotel would suit only the single traveller.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and very prompt with all requests but this didn't make up for the very crammed rooms. I would not stay at this hotel again

comfortable environment and friendly staff, great furnishings and its the location of the hotel is suitable for party goers. nearby clubs like zouk and places like clarke quay are places which party goers can go to.

I was impressed with the free upgrade of room to a premier loft without us asking. The layout is very interesting. However the room is tad too small and having one TV on the upper deck, makes it inaccessible for those on the lower deck. The toilet room and shower room are seperated which is very inconvenient. The toilet room is also very small and as I am pregnant now, makes it very cramp for me. Parking is also very limited where we have to park in a hotel nearby. But fortunately Studio M Hotel fully bore the expensive parking fees of the hotel.
The breakfast spread was also disappointing as it is very limited. The eggs at the eggs station are one of the worst we have tried. The cheese used in the egg shouldnt be parmansan cheese as the taste is weird.
But the ambience as an overall is good with a very relaxing atmosphere especially at night by the pool side.

Nice hotel to stay at.. the pool is not bad as its 25m length compare to some other hotel. The complimentary morning breakfast really need more improvement as the variety is really very little.
Nightlife Tip:
lots of pubs and restaurant around the hotel to chill at.

The location is good and within walking distance to Clarke Quay. The room is cosy but the toilet and shower room are pretty small. The air-condition is not cooling enough. The phone line is not user-friendly when I want to make a call to the reception counter. I had to figure out pretty long what does it mean by "Feature1 & 2".

Great concept with affordable prices

Look forward for the stay after making the booking. Did not disappoint me at all. Though the bathroom were a little small but overall the stay was great. The bed is really comfy and the tv right in front of us was just great to snuggle the next morning. Breakfast was good too, will be even better if there were more seats to cope with the demand. Overall an enjoyable weekend stay. :)
Restaurant Tip:
Do pop by the Aussie restaurant located just 2 minutes from the Hotel. Boomarang. They serve great food and wine. :)
