Decent hotel in a good location. Wide selection of bars and restaurants a few minutes walk away in Clarke Quay. Mall across the road is so-so but does have several cafe's with free wireless if you object to the $16+/hour, $28+/day (plus tax) internet charges in the hotel.

We booked a “classic room” in this 4 star hotel and that was such a JOKE! I purposely requested a NON-Smoking room because of my allergy. At the time I walked in the room, I ran out right away - there was such strong smell in the room. The bell boy was nice to call the reception to switch another room on the same floor. When I walked in, I was so shock!!!! Was the room that I paid for? Did I pay 4 star Hotel price, and stay in somewhere looked like a Motel 6 room? The room was small, the carpet was worn out, the bathroom was old, the sink had crakes (really need to be replaced), the TV was old with limited channels, the bed headboard looked like it’s falling apart and more... I could not think of anything convinced me that I was actually staying in a 4 star hotel except the price I paid. I asked for a receipt at the time we checked out. The check out staff reply: you booked the hotel via your travel agent, and you needed to ask your travel agent for a receipt. Oh, My God! The travel agent only could verify I booked the hotel, but couldn’t verify I stayed in the hotel! I walked away without saying anything… I couldn’t speak for the condition of other rooms; but for the “classic room,” I was extremely disappointed. I was such a fool: for about $30 more, I could stay at a better hotel. I will never go back to this hotel!

Nice room, good house keeping, friendly and cheerful staff. You feel very welcome over there. I like the 24-hour gym.
