Sensational views, excellent and convenient location. Bathrooms are small (age of hotel). We keep returning to the Swissotel, it's good value, right on top of a train station and a decent shopping centre, located in the Raffles region with lots of interesting sightseeing nearby and minutes by train or taxi to Orchard Road, Chinatown etc. Absolutely love the views, ask for a high floor. If you go for an executive room you'll get a high floor plus coffee machine, breakfast on Lvl 60 with real coffee and drinks in the evening.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Catch the train. It's fun to be in the Singapore action and it's incredibly convenient.

view from the room, comfort of the room, location of the hotel, services offered, sport facilities, efficiency of staff and disponibility relatively expensive DSL Internet connection in the room compare with extensive free WIFI in the city, to access 70th and 71th floor you have to first go to lobby and then ... the place to be to combine work and leisure in the center of Singapore. and if you can don't miss the view on the harbour

Great location and wonderful bayviews from the upper floors. Complimentary bottled water should be provided. I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 20 years. The standards have always remained high. The location is excellent for sightseeing, subway and taxis. It is attached to a shopping mall so if you need to do any last mintue shopping it is really hard to beat the convenience. I especially enjoyed my dinner at Pregos.
Hotel Feature Tip : Book a bayview room. The view is defintely worth the extra price.

view from room, fine dining at Jaan restaurant, strategic location whereby city hall station is right below the hotel service from front desk was bad, initially room checked-in was an old room but we were later changed to a new one. however, tv in the room has not been changed. initially when we check-in, service from front desk was bad and the room was different from the room shown online. we complained to their senior front desk manager. he then changed us to another room that satisfies us and to our surprise, he also gave complimentary breakfast. and the breakfast was superb. try the breakfast for those who are going to stay there.

The price wise is affordable. Very convenience to train station and mall. More features such as holidays packages or special offers. The hotel is very good and I think it is one of the best hotel in Singapore. The price is affordable for 5 stars hotel. The location is very good because it is very easy to go to MRT station and also the mall is just right underneath. The view in the room is spectacular. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel.

Location, quality, customer service, amenities. In-room internet access is pricey! Great check-in procedures, friendly and courteous staff, typical of nice Singapore hotels. Great location, fantastic amenities including access to two pools, the highest nightclub in Asia on the 70th floor with stunning views, and a great day spa. Well presented rooms, high standards of presentation and customer care and a great list of facilities you can access to make your stay more pleasant and easier. Late check out times available and convenient room charging service from neighbouring Flairview and Raffles hotels. Superb shopping in the neighbourhood. Just beware that while you get a great deal included in the room price, extras can be unfeasably expensive.
Shopping Tip : Attached to a hge shopping centre containing the likes of Calvin Klein, the hotel is also walking distance from Orchard Road, a shopping Mecca with huge shopping centres galore ranging from bargain to boutique.

excellent view of the downtown from the 60th floor, the gym is very nice, big and all the equipment is in very good condition, the spa is nice and clean. Pay the extra money to upgrade to the Swiss Executive rooms, then there is free drinks from 5-8 pm every day with a full meal to go, i did not have to spend a dime on food last stay because of the plentiful servings at the 60th floor, salads, finger food, fruits, desserts, all kinds of drinks, wine, beer and hard liquor.
Restaurant Tip : Pay the upgrade to Swiss Executive and eat and drink for free!!!!

Connected to great shopping center with restaurants, grocery store, drug store, shopping, etc. Don't have to go outside to hop on the MRT. Very clean, nice place. Very helpful. Nice balcony off room. Eating at the restaurant is a bit expensive. No free internet. I was on business in Singapore. It is quite convenient to stay at the Stamford being so close to the MRT and having so many shops, restaurants, etc. right at your hotel. The hotel was really nice about extended my checkout time the last day since my flight was not until 20:00. I left my luggage at the valet without issue. For my laptop bag, they moved it to a secure room, which was very nice. It can be expensive for the various services (food, laundry, internet, etc.), but I didn't find it too much more expensive than any other hotels I've stayed at in Singapore.
Hotel Feature Tip : You can get checkout for as late as 15:00 by just requesting it upon arrival.

Nice rooms, Large, Staff very friendly Great location near the shopping, metro, restaurants. Also the room and linens were quite nice. i really liked the hotel, location and staff. Will stay again, Agoda provided very good rates for a great hotel. try the shopping mall next door, or Starbucks, or jumping onto the metro to go to Little india for breakfast. Very nice...

The facilities and decorations in the hotel is quite old. It seems that it is a four stars hotel instead of five stars. This hotel is generally good but is not that excellent.

Big rooms, ideal for a family. We put 3 in one room and 2 in another. The hotel is well located close to the Raffles Hotel, the river and connects to an excellent shopping centre. The pool area is also terrific for children and adults. Breakfast is included and worth the cost. It is a cab ride to Orchard Road shopping, although only $5.00. This hotel is not cheap, but still offers reasonable value for money if you are looking for something nice. We have stayed at this hotel 3 times and continue to be satisfied customers. Great roof-top bar, big rooms, attentive service, great room views of Singapore and a location which is close to shopping and the interesting restaurants in the river district. Our children love the buffet breakfasts and life by the pool. The gym also suits my wife and I!!!
Hotel Feature Tip : Spend some time on level 8. The pool is terrific and happy hour goes from 5:30 to 8:30pm when drinks are half price.

centrally located to almost all the travelling destinations,stunning views from the room balcony,private entry to the hotel mall,a vast choice of vegetarian stuff on the breakfast buffet,a very friendly and enthusiastic staff(concierge,guest services,bellboy all) everything makes the stay very comforting. the reception area could use some more staff as there was quiet a rush may be due to holiday season or other reason the hotel is very centrally located for all your travelling needs.the concierge is very helpful in every which way possible(booking sightseeing tours or travelling directions everything waseasily available).good vegetarian food options on the breakfast buffet were nice.the views from the room balcony were stunning.
Hotel Feature Tip : the hotels cafe (out of the pan)was a good place to sit and relax and be a part of the crowd unknowingly.the constant bustling of the place gives you a fair idea of the pace pf the city.

fantastic breakfast
good sized room
great location We stayed as a family of 4 in a room with two doublebeds and an additional rollout bed. It was very comfortable and we had plenty of space. All of us really enjoyed the enormous breakfast buffet - everything from smoked salmon to chinese dumplings. The children really enjoyed the pools too.

The attendance of staffs and the cleanness of the hotel. If hotel can provide free shuttle to/from airport will be a better benefits for guests. The location of the hotel is good, and the attendance of the staffs are very appreciative. If the hotel have free shuttle for guests to and from airport, this will definitely improves the merits for this hotel. The nearby links from the hotel is also a good benefit for guests, as you can walk to Raffle City shopping mall and market place easily.

The hotel is very well located, downtown by the City Hall subway interchange, next to several very high class malls, and an easy walk to the Quays, with wonderful, affordable restaurants. All of the staff were extremely helpful and professional. The included buffet breakfast was wonderful, including the service.
