Great location and good service
There is a nice whisky bar in the basement.

great location amidst the wonderful area of ang siang hill. pity the hotel is slightly aged and to have an ikea plastic chair is a really bad idea for the price you pay.

beautiful hotel but bad service

had the worse experience from this hotel. despite beautiful building, that lends to relaxing trip, we cannot get our room clean until 5pm. receptionist also try to be helpful but really did not know where places are and to be honest, i can google better than her.

Pros - Very near Chinatown, many food areas and bars round the corners.
Cons - The check-in is very slow, the bar upstairs was very noisy, some tv channels keep losing its reception,the shower takes a very longggggg time to heat up, no check out extension granted.

quaint and avant-garde hotel
room is bigger than most boutique hotels.

the black and white theme is fantastic, not over the board yet tasteful. the maxwell food market is just down the road so your basic need will be easily met. yet the hotel is tucked away in a corner and is expecially peaceful on a weekend as it's smack in the middle of cbd. i would stay there again.

Spacious room with bathroom with large shower (no bath, hot water not working when I was there).
Even I checked in very late, no check-out at 2PM was given.

good location for china town, close to mrt (easy walk)

very modern interior design, clean comfortable. staff friendly and helpful. located at edge of china town so handy for sightseeing. mrt is a short walk so easy access to city centre and other areas of singapore.
a number of good restaurants are located nearby as is smith street with its many hawker stalls.

great hotel although room getting close to needing a lick of paint and a pruce up.. stayed durng f1 gp and got a great rate compared to other similar hotels.
room was noisey from roof top bar at night but did not worry as was quiet by the time i returned late at night
only down side was no pool which for the rates paid would have expected.
would definitely stay again.
