Good location, walk to Orchard Road. Major construction site on one side of the building, very loud and starts early and ends late at night. Don't let them fool you at this hotel. They upgraded my room to a premium room. Nice, right? Wrong. When I got to my room and looked out the window, I realized there was a huge construction site right outside. I immediately went back to the front desk, and when I asked about the construction, the they told me that it was going to be loud, and would most likely wake me up. Gee, thanks! Sure enough, they started swinging hammers out there at 8am and the noise never stopped until about 10pm. I will never stay there again.

- Close to the orchard road (5-10 mins walk)
- Helpful front desks and personnels
- Nice rooms
- OK swimming pool - There are not many fitness appliances
- Not many selection of breakfast, especially if you gonna stay there for longer days. You will get tired already with the breakfast.
- There is only cold breakfast when you are asking for the early one. This might be the best choice if you only have limited money to spent on the hotel while still having a four star accomodation. I stayed there during the F1 race week. Apparently, my dad could not make it to Singapore, so one room is left vacant. I tried to get the reimbursement, but the rules says no. However, the staff were trying to help me, though it could not be helped at all. So, in conclusion this is a nice hotel to stay in if you are going to shop a lot. It might be not a good choice to stay if you are only there for the facilities.

Gave me a high, good view of city, non smoking room as requested, were very helpful, generally clean. Had to wait a long time to be served, or if i had a question to ask at counter. I found the service generally very good. The rooms where clean, although rather dark, with a very small window for the view. The service was good, clean room, and i got what i requested which was very great. For the price you get what is expected. I would stay again as it was conveniently located in the city centre close to shops, and tours leave from the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Tours leave from the hotel, very handy.

Location is just behind the Metro Paragon Public transport limited in the area Overall, the stay at the Elizabeth is very pleasing. The room booked at the time was fair and clean. The price was right as well as the location.
The service was very good, where the stay were very accomodating when requests we made at the very last minute.
Overall a good price, location, and service hotel.

Best location for a reasonably priced hotel!
Friendly Staff. Delicious MODESTO Cafe/Pub. Powerful Aircon. Funky smelling hallways and NOT ventilated room (Smoking room/floor). Our room had no shower curtain, so after a shower the whole bathroom was wet. We really appreciated the hotel for its very strategic location just 5mins walk away from ORCHARD ROAD. Our mission in Singapore was to shop along ORCHARD so we did not enjoy ourselves much in the hotel. Other than the 'no ventilation and no shower curtain' the hotel was great.
Shopping Tip : Whilst shopping around 'LUCKY PLAZA' be very careful of the salesmen. They are very dishonest and have no ethics in business - their sole interest is their own interest.
Note: Not ALL shops in lucky plaza. Just be aware.

Cozy Bar Room a bit small.
the eateries doesnt open 24 hours. we got chased out of the bar at 11.30pm by the staff who was closing. Elizabeth is a typical singapore hotel. room is standard, we stayed in the superior room which is a bit bigger than the deluxe room. the room is cozy and has a good view of the orchard area. overall at the price that we paid, it is value for money. its only 5 minutes walk to orchard road. a great stay for shoppers

the room is too small. It's quite far from MRT or orchard road if u walk. I think most of the guest in this hotel is the people who is accompanny their family at the ME hospital. why didn't I get breakfast?

It is very close to Orchard Rd.
Very comfortable and quiet for the price.
The restaurant offers italian food, very nice. It should be made easier to reach Orchard Rd, and not be told justwalk through the lobby of the Hotel opposite. The Hotel seems improved, , I have stayed there before (about 4 years ago), and found it a little old and out of touch.

Distilled complimentary water The Hotel is very good in terms of it being relatively quiet and its proximity to Orchard Road (Keep in mind that it is located on a hill though).
The staff is very friendly and I had no problems checking in before 12. The rooms are good for the hotel class, but the TV cabinet makes it uncomfortable to watch TV for more than one person. The food is good and the portions are fairly large (pizza & garlic bread), however, it is also very expensive and smaller meals such as the club sandwich are very disappointing keeping in mind that they cost 9SGD. The area is quiet since it is close to many residential buildings and location is the best feature of this hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip : Only a few minutes walk to Orchard Road, make sure you don't have too many bags when you walk back to the hotel though, as it is located on a hill.

carpet smell was not favourable .no breakfast available for the discount price. When we checked out,there was a bill charging about drinking tea in room but we had not done it, however, we did not pay, just to sign the name certifying that we did not. Elizabeth Far east Hotel was a good hotel to stay in this price. It was saved, clean, and furnished with all supplement and service like other good hotels have done. The location was like being home and near walking street in the middle of the city. The smellof the room and walking corridor should be improved. And be careful about bill charging guests while checking out. Don't charge thing they had not done it.
Restaurant Tip : There are many eating places in the shopping arcades on Orchard Road. Just walking through the shopping arcades you will find some food courts there. Underground station is also not too far from walking distance. You may buy one day ticket and get to go every where by public trasportation. Don't carry too heavy bag. Small umbrella is essential in rainy season.

walking distance to orchard road location of the hotel is good. the hotel is located near some shopping complexes and also walking distance to the famous orchard road. the room is very small as compared relatively to the rate and it will only be very comfortable for 1 pax, for 2 pax it's quite small and for than 3 pax, it'll be congestion.

Very close to the Orchard Area Elizabeth hotel is convenientely located within the walking distance of famous Orchard area. You can really shop until late and still walk up to the hotel after having your dinner at one of the many available restaurants in Orchard area. The hotel rooms are clean though at some spots the refurbishing is ncecessary. This hotel is aslo ideally suitable for shot-stay businessmen and there are always couple of taxis available just in front of the hotel.
Shopping Tip : As this hotel is in the proximity of Orchard area, you really can shop until you drop ans still walk back to the hotel.
