Well located near the intersection of Scotts Rd and clean room not much variation food for breakfast it really nice stay..just 5 minutes walk to the M. Elizabeth hotel..best location..the staff is really friendly..the thing that needs to improve i think is the variation food for breakfast..the room is not so big but the bed is really commfortable..nice price, The location is great which near by the Orchad Rd. Very convenient for the people whom wants to shopping in Singapore.recommended hotel..

- efficient staff but, not particularly friendly Definitely a very pleasant surprise. The Elizabeth-A Far East Hotel totally surpassed my expectations. A perfect location (5 minute walk to Orchard Road), very nice room (comfortable, nice furnishing) - all at a very attractive price. On the excercise front, the swimming pool is ok but, the gym is definitely lacking (a few apparatus located outdoors next to the pool). Not unlike other hotels, I'm not too impressed with the internet rates. Bottom line - definitely a good place to stay in Singapore

Less than 10 mins walk to Ngee Ann City on Orchard Road,clean room and towels, Modesto's kitchen for hotel food, free drinking ammenities for executive floor stay, bedroom slippers are available upon request, toiletries provided. Internet is chargeable but at a minimal rate, room service and eateries do not operate 24hours, regular superior rooms do not have bath robes.Reception, room service and housekeeping does take a long time answering the phone. This is my second long term stay at The Elizabeth as it provides me with the best value for money for a 4 star hotel stay which is less than a 10 min walk from Ngee Ann City. Location is definately excellent. A new addition to the hotel would be the Modesto Restaurant that provides excellent pasta and "wood-fired" pizza.

Walking distances to all convenience; shopping spree, hospital, food. Although walking distance, still a lil tiring. Hotel is accessible to all convenience; shopping spree, hospital, food but if there is a transport service provided by the hotel to the main road, would be perfect. The rest of the stay was okay.

Clean, staff is friendly, excellent location. Probably will be better if the hotel charges included buffet breakfast The hotel is only walking distance from the Orchard Road, you can have really nice shopping and is really easy. You can easily get a taxi outside the lobby, is great you know. Is my 1st time stayed in the hotel and I am absolutely satisfied with it. If you are looking for a hotel which is great but not cost so much, this is must be the one.

Location on top of a hill Elizabeth hotel is located at the end of Orchard road, ans it was on top of the hill, so it was a bit of a hike walking back to the hotel from the MRT station. The room is a bit small and old, fixtures need some updating and the carpet was worn, but the room is clean. Bathroom is also very small.

I’ve found the location to be very convenient. The size of the room and its cleanliness was all right. The bathroom was originally nice but now after years of use and poor maintenance needs a remake; specifically I’m talking about the mold that can be seen on the sealer around the bathtub and the grout between the tiles. The AC in the room worked properly.

Great value.
Nothing I feel strongly about to complain. Fittings a bit old but it's all working. I stayed 3 nights with my son. It was business & pleasure trip. For the price, it was great value for the location. Just a 3 min walk to Paragon, you're at the heart of Orchard Road. Take the proven path, taking the paths through the residential area is a much longer walk to Orchard Road and with many dead ends. You can also cut through the York Hotel (across from the Elizabeth) to take a quicker route to Scotts Road. Nice outdoor pool to chill out with the family. Taxis aplenty at the doorstep despite the Elizabeth not being on the main drag.
Restaurant Tip : There's a little cafe on the 4th floor of Paragon (the kid's floor, where there is a Toys R Us) that serves a really yummy sticky date toffee pudding. Not your traditional version, but one with vanilla ice-cream sandwiched between 2 slices of cake & generous toffee topping. My 6 year old & I shared it and it was an excellent bonding time we had over that.

Within walking distance of Main Orchard area but still inexpensive. Serves good breakfast. Taxi easily available. The room interior needs revamping. Even though this hotel is within walking distance of main posh orchard shopping area. The hotel serves good breakfast and room service is also nice. One can think that the rooms now need revamping but at the same time, the deal is fair enough. Single persons interested in nightlife, the bars located in orchards towers are also within walking distance. The famous foodcourt "Newtons Circus" is also not far away. Overall, very nice place and nice hotel staff.
Restaurant Tip : Very good chinese restaurants located on 4th floor in Takashimaya. Newtons circus foodcourt also near.

Well located near the intersection of Scotts Rd and Lack of introduction to the hotel and room by the hotel staff.
We were booked into a room where renovations were happening on the floor above and though we would have liked to relax and maybe sleep after a long journey we could not because of the noise from the drilling and hammering. Generally the hotel decor is getting tired and loks well worn.
The carpets in the room were very dirty looking and the air conditioning made strange noises which kept us awake at night.
Over all it was reasonable value for the price we paid
Restaurant Tip : Plenty of cheap dining outside and near the hotel.

Friendliness of all the staff and the welcoming feeling upon returning for a revisit Non really - just the walk up the hill after a busy day We have stayed at the Elizabeth approximately 6 times since it was built in 1993. The staff at all Far East hotels are friendly without being overbearing and smile and acknowledge you upon your entry every day. The restaurant is handy and reasonably priced. The rooms are neat, clean and tidy although perhaps it may be time for a makeover compared to the Quincy next door.
Shopping Tip : When heading from Orchard Road take the short cut through the York and Goodwood frounds to Scott Road. It saves walking up the big hill.
