Lovely hotel, great location
Close enough to Orchard Road, but far enough from its traffic.

The Elizabeth Hotel was a nice, affordable place to stay in a really expensive city. It's rooms are well apportioned (just didn't get the twin beds thing), the ambience good, the grounds well kept, and the poolside bar well stocked. The staff was helpful - I had an air conditioning leak in my room and somebody was up to fix it within 15 minutes of my call. Not sure when the hotel last did an update, but its bathrooms could be modernized.
Travel tip:
Getting around Singapore can be easy and cost effective - you just need to ask the concierge for alternatives to taxis.

Hotel surroundings/neighborhood is good and hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Room is clean and big enough for two persons, tho the bathroom is clean but seemed old. For senior citizens, it'quite a long downhill walk to the
orchard mrt station. We had to take the cab to either the
cityhall or douby gauht station.

The hotel is located nearly perfect for all what you need during your stay in Singapore.
It is located very good near to the famous Orchard Road where you have all the shops what you can
think of. Also the various restaurants in the area would be a visit worth. The staff in the hotel is serving
you in a friendly and positive way trying to solve problems for you in the best manner.
All in all a very good experience.

the hotel staff were very courteous, informative, friendly and helpful.they made us feel warmly welcome and comfortable. the room was reasonably sized with a big flat screen tv and had free wifi which was very convenient.the hotel's location is within 5 to 8 minutes walking time to major shopping centers and restaurants along orchard road. we enjoyed staying in the hotel.
Shopping Tip:
The hotel is about 5-8 minutes walking distance to major shopping centres such as Takashimiya, Paragon, Lucky Plaza, Atria and Tangs along Orchard Road.
