Everything is good: location, room space, atmosphere.
Just one thing make my stay a bit uncomfortable: the room temperature is so cold even I adjust the air-con controller, so I couldn't sleep well.
Shopping Tip:
Walk to Orchard road through the lobby of front hotel. It's the shortest way.

Clean and newly refurbished rooms with free Wifi. About 10 minutes walk from shopping area. Walking distance to Mount Elizabeth Hospital as well for patients seeking treatment there.

Confortable room with a homely feel

The room is confortable and still can fit in a baby cot without additional charge. The receptionist offer an free upgrade for the room and provide a baby cot for my 6-month old baby girl. However, the house-keeping people was very slow in response to the setup of the baby cot for the room until a few reminder calls to them.
A drawback for the hotel is the distance from the hotel to the shopping areas of Orchard Road and MRT, especially you have a young children will have a problem to "walk" to the MRT.
Its proximity to the Mount Elizabeth Hospital has create traffic congestion to the hotel access. Some taxi drivers refused to travel to the hotel during peak hours.

Elegant hotel in its time and great location
location is the best, 5 mins walking distance from the Orchard shopping area

I stayed here after getting good promo price from Agoda. The best thing of this hotel is its location. It's just great. But one thing I miss is that the tv cable installed didn't provide English Premier League live cast. That's all
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There's a bar for Arsenal fans at level 1 where it will broadcast only Arsenal's match.

lovely hotel
the decor was amazing felt exotic ...beautiful marble.... fountains staff had fluent english and were very helpful and efficient

my stay was very short as my flight was delayed i would have been happy to have had a few days there and not move outside the hotel it was so lovely and relaxing it was a little oasis in a busy place
