Lovely hotel in great location

Not really a bad word to say about this hotel. Located very close to boat quay, staff were excellent and always at hand to help you.
Upgraded on arrival, view from room wasn't amazing but from what I had read about the courtyard rooms being noisy and with no natural light I didn't mind.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Nice terrace on the top of the hotel, hidden away through the back of the lighthouse restaurant, worth a visit for a couple of drinks, especially when the lightshow is on

We had a great 3-night stay in the hotel. The front desk staff, Barbara, was very helpful. She upgraded our room twice since we had young children and need bigger space for the extra rolling bed. The staff was very helpful and professional. The room was cozy and the ambience of the hotel is great. Luxurious comfort with an affordable price.

They have shuttle to Orchard and Business districts.

fantastic architecture coupled with greaat service

although the rooms are starting to look slightly dated, the incredible architecture of the building and the courtyard is just superb. the staff are very very friendly. room service too expensive (but aren't all hotels?). again, staff are superb

lighthouse restaurant on level 8. it's hidden away but has the best view.

stayed for two nights, hotel is surrounded by the business center and financial district, as well as the entertainment area, as it just accross from the Marina Bay, and the Esplanade, nice location. And the exterior is fabulous, since its a restoration building from and old government building, it has a full historic value. The hotel also has some historical sites nearby, it even gives a map out in every room, detailing a trail walk for those who wanna have a short walk

This is a beautiful hotel located on Boat Quay, therefore its location is superb. Easy water-taxi service right from the hotel to Boat & Clark Quay as well as to the Marina Bay area. The quay rooms have lovely views of the Singapore River. The pool, located on the second floor, overlooks the river as well as it's an infinity pool. Service is wonderful, hotel internet throughout facility.

The location is needless to comment about. It's in the heart of Singapore, surrounded by places and sights of interest.
The architecture is rather classic, but it has all the modern facilities.
The room is spacious and fully equipped with everything you need (and more). The view from the room is also nice.
The swimming pool is on the 3rd floor, not so big, but with a view to the Singapore river and the boat quay area.
The hotel is a legendary hotel, and you may want to stay there once in a while for the experience. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny.

Check in was late, waited for 1 hour to clean up the room until 4-5PM, and no late check out so then I was offered half day charge for late check out until 6PM.
Everything else was perfect. Great hotel.

They should create more things to do in the hotel such as more Attractions other then just the swimming pool. Nevertheless, their staffs provide excellent service.
