Entrance is on Stamford rd, no matter what the address says. Follow that advice and you'll save money in the taxi driving around to look for it. Breakfast was so-so buffet. Beds very comfortable but not queen size, more like double. Great central location, close to train station direct to airport. There is a dress code if you're planning on staying at the hotel. Wished we had spent the money to stay a nicer looking hotel

Great location for short stay in Singapore
SRC is a stylish older residence associated with the historic recreation club right in the centre of Singapore and opposite the City Hall MRT station.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the SRC. Friendly staff, clean rooms opening onto a large balcony overlooking parks, spring fields and the city. Good buffet breakfast, easy access to the MRT and pleasant walks to the Marina area and the river.

Comfortable and easy
The staff at this hotel were more than helpful, it was close to the MRT station (City Hall) and rooms were spacious and comfortable and the internet was fast!

We arrived at this hotel after a 7 1/2 hr flight and it was amazing! The lobby and foyer are spectacular and the staff are some of the friendliest that I have come across. Nothing was a problem. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the MRT station (City Hall). The rooms that we had were spacious enough for the night that we stayed at this hotel. Breakfast was included and had a great variety and we had dinner at the poolside café which was wonderful and non expensive (just over $50 Singapore total for 3 adults and 3 beers). When we go back to Singapore we would love to stay at this hotel again...it was excellent! The only problem we had with this hotel is that our taxi driver didn't know where it was...so if you are in a taxi make sure he knows where it is before you get in! After our one taxi ride we used the MRT for all other transport in and around Singapore - it's really easy to use and if you need help the public in Singapore are only too happy to help you!

This was the third times i stayed in SRC. Transportation is easily access, the City Hall MRT is nearby (just a 3 minutes walk). The hotel is a bit old but staff are friendly. The worst thing is the noise from corridor.

Maybe one of the best location in Singapore. Just a few steps from Cityhall MRT. As a recreation club, a lot of facilities that you can use. Breakfast is OK. Room size is adequate (in my opinion). But some might be bothered from the dress code information on the walls around hotel ...
