Great place to stay, staff are friendly & efficient. Food was great, great facilities, Gym, pool and lounge area for meetings. The Traders Hotel is not far from the shopping heart of Singapore in Orchard Road with all of the luxury brands of Dior, Hermes Gucci etc. It is in a nice quite place with pleanty of onsite facilities. The Ah Hoi resteraunt is a great place to eat, the staff are friendly and efficient. I arrived early 6.50am for a 2pm check-in and they did not charge me extra. Highly recommended.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go to Mt Faber Park and take a 1 hour Cable car to Sentosa Island and back. Take a loved one and enjoy a meal whilst watching the sunset. It is only 15 mins by cab to Mt Faber.

poor housekeeping Location is at far end of Orchard shopping belt but hourly bus shuttle service to Orchard MRT station is available. Bedroom and bathroom sizes are disappointingly small. Housekeeping standard is among the worst we have encountered. Plus point is the complimentary internet access in room. Swimming pool looks decent but we did not try it.

Connect to Tanglin plaza is very easy to find out local food.The breakfast buffet is quality. In morning, the taxi que is quite long, need to reserve time for waiting. The lobby is a bit too narrow especially in morning check out time. Overall,the service of the hotel is also superb.
Shopping Tip : good stay for anybody who have limited shopping in the evening.

clean and tidy, nice cafe Our first stay at the Traders was very comfortable. They have all amenities. If you are waiting for flights, the guest room after checkout is a bonus. The only negative point would be that the bathroom is exceptionally small, and there is only room for one person at a time. However, we would happily stay there again for our next visit to Singapore.
Restaurant Tip : The cafe at the hotel has a great buffet at a reasonable price.

The room is clean and staff are professional. The bed is comfy and comes with adequate pillows. One of the best is that the internet is complimentary in your room unlike other hotels. The only weakness with this hotel is that your at the end of Orchard so you have to a little of walk to get to the shopping area. Most of the time we just cab it. There are more pro's than con in this hotel and you really get your money's worth staying here stress free. Unfortunately, I did not have time to try the buffet or the food so could not comment on it. But definitely will book in the same hotel again.

Close to Orchard Street, well appointed room. This hotel is good size hotel with many rooms, and managed by the Shangri-la chain, so it is well run. At the "beginning" (it is a one way street, for most tourist, it is the end) of the famous Orchard road, it is close to shopping. The rooms are small, but this is Singapore and in a very expensive real estate area. Room is comfortable, clean and well appointed.
Restaurant Tip : Orchard road is full of shops, mostly on the expensive side. It is great shopping but most items are not cheap. If you like to spent some money on a nice dinner, try the Les Amies Italian restaurant on the back street of the Shaw Center. A nice restaurant, but expensive. For medium price, try the Italian restaurant next to it. Run by the same owner at Les Aimes.

Very good service, excellent breakfast,nice staff, Traders club excellent choice, fair location We liked our stay very much, although the location is a bit off of Orchard street and walking even down the street gets a lot of sweat out of it was an excellent choice. One can cool down near the pool, food is good and plenty and staff very friendly. We probably consider this location when and if we fly again to Singapore.

Complimentary internet connection in room. Traders Hotel is a good value for money hotel in Singapore. Nice facilities and big swimming pool. It worths to stay for business purpose, as for business trip, internect connection is a major factor that I choose to stay at Traders.

Very clean, fast check in and check out. Located just beside of Tanglin Mall. Complete Toiletry Amenities. Easy access to swimming pool The location is quite far from the Orchard Central. Has to walk through few quite places.
Room is small. Travel with my 3 kids. They are all happy staying in this Hotel. Clean bath room, clean swimming pool (available towel). The porter is very helpful. Only that the location is quite far from MRT especially when taking 3 kids together.
Shopping Tip : there is direct access on 2nd floor to Tanglin Mall. You may choose to have breakfast at the Food Court. They open quite early.

An excellent health club and pool and easy access to shops, a supermarket, and restaurants at the shopping center next door to the hotel. Small rooms that are now old, slightly musty and poorly designed by today's standards. They try to cram too much furniture into a limited space to give the impression that the rooms are well appointed. It only makes one feel more cramped still. I had an extremely distasteful experience with the hotel. During a stay six months before, I was allowed to use small meeting room in the hotel's business center at no charge. The room was unscheduled and available. During my most recent stay, the woman in charge of the business center -the same person I had dealt with previously - again allowed me to use their small meeting room. She mentioned no charges. I authorized and signed off on no charges. When I went to check out, the reception desk handed me a bill for $217 Singapore for use of their business center! I was shocked. No one had ever notified me I would be charged. No one quoted me prices. I neither authorized nor signed off on any billing. I refused to pay the bill. The reception desk then e-mailed me a billing invoice. It had no dates on it and only estimated times of use. Someone there obviously invented times in order to justify the amount they were billing. After the hotel's cynical and deceptive action in this case, I'll never stay there again.

The hotel is within walking distance of Orchard Road and the Botnical Gardens. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Room is somewhat small and hotel restaurant a bit expensive. My 3 night stay in the Traders Hotel in Singapore was very positive. I arrived at 1:30 am and was greeted with a smile and quickly given my key. The room was on the pool view side and quite comfortable, if a bit on the small side. The staff was always pleasant and ready to answer any question I posed.
The location is excellent for strolling along Orchard Road or going to the Botanical Gardens.
Restaurant Tip : The Mall next door has a fine food court for cheap/quick meals.
