Convenient location at a good price.

Efficient shuttle to Orchard malls and MRT.
Located next to mall itself - good for breakfast and snacks.

The Location was alright but small rooms

the hotel was alright.
eventhough its abit far from Orchard Road, the Hotel actually provides free shuttle.
Only problem with the hotel is the rooms were really small.

Great Hotel but Poor Front Desk Staff

The hotel is in the vicinity of Orchard and the popular Orchard road shopping centers are about 1km away.
I booked for a double bed room but was given twin bed instead. The front desk staff offer no proper explanation on the mistake and ignore my request with a vacant and cold face.
Overall, it is a well maintained hotel with pleasant service. However, the stay would be much better if the front desk staff was friendly.

Really enjoyed the stay in Singapore and the experience was made better by our stay in the Trader's hotel. The staff were really helpful, asssisting us in whatever we asked for also gave us a very late check out without any additional charges. the pool is fantastic, you shouldn't miss that.

we had originally booked a room with a double bed but got one with two single beds. they changed the room for us. on the second day the room was not cleaned. the room was very small, the bathroom extremely small. carpet seemed old. the staff was friendly enough. i think this hotel is very overpriced and also breakfast was not included in the room rate.
you ask me to rate food/dining but i did not eat at the hotel....

we checked in to smoking rooms but the ventilation system was not working well causing the rooms and hallway smells. we asked to be switched to non-smoking rooms which were fresher. great service, rooms are spacious. we are satisfied staying in this hotel.

the hotel is getting a little old, and the doors are paper thin, but apart from that it was a great hotel to spend new years. close to shops and restaurants, only 10 minutes stroll to orchard rd.

Good quality chain hotel offering good service. Rooms in need of renovation but clean and comfortable. Restaurant food expensive but hotel adjacent to shopping mall with good choice of food outlets and supermarket. Excellent location in a reasonably quiet part of Singapore but easy walking to Orchard Road and access to many restaurants, bars and shopping.
