This hotel is located 5 minutes walking distance from Orchard Towers. Room was great. Nice clean. Room had a great view of the pool and the parts of the city. Taxis were kinda hard to get but dont really require the taxi unless weather sucks. Next time i visit SG i will stay at this hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 day stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a great location near to the Orchard Rd shops and the botanical gardens which is well worth a visit. The gym and swimming pool are very good.
I would definitely recommend the Traders hotel and will stay there again on my next visit to Singapore.

it is conveniently located on walking distance to orchard. has a small shopping centre attached for convenience shopping. the hotel is a bit older but the rooms are descent. the staff is responsive and friendly. it's a good alternative for people who want to shop on orchard.
Restaurant Tip:
Benetti in the attached mall serves great food and excellent coffee.

Convenient Location to my workplace - small rooms!

this is probably my 3rd or 4th time staying here. i will only choose to stay here if i have meetings near tanglin. each time i stay at traders, i am surprised by how small the rooms are. however i understand that this is something that cannot be changed by the management.
whilst everything is pleasant, i would suggest some attention is made to the carpets which are starting to look old. the bedding ie. the blankets are also starting to look weathered.
i recently stayed at a similar age hotel in singapore for the same price and the condition of the room was a lot better.
traders rooms are in need of a renovation.
